- This is one of my restaurants. How did I get here? A little bit of luck and a little bit of strategy. I only selected cards that did not expand my menu and kept me at black coffee. I promise, this is most definitely not modded. This is a completely legitimate Plate Up restaurant. All cards are shown in the video.

Im so confused by the coffee setup far right. Usually grabbers dont take objects in the middle of a process, like an object being portioned or in this case, coffee being brewed. But the top left coffee machine never gets to brew coffee because the smart grabber to the right keeps grabbing the cup instead of grabbing a cup from storage. Why is that? because the coffee machine to its right also has a grabber coming off it but it is able to brew coffee uninterrupted. Is it just cuz its a smart grabber pulling from the top left machine? Seems so weird to me bc the smart grabber can still grab empty cups from storage when the coffee machine is holding a full cup...
Very cool run by the way, I should have mentioned that first.
Also is there any benefit to using the un-upgraded conveyors in sequence as opposed to grabbers?
Thanks for your interest in my video! The machine I think you’re referring to is only there to provide empty cups to the next machine. That’s why I put a smart grabber coming off of it that only allows empty cups. Otherwise the coffee that’s already been brewed would go back through the cycle and slow the whole process down. As for using conveyors instead of grabbers the only reason I did that is because I happened to have at the time access to more conveyors. Grabbers work just fine in place of conveyors.
How did you get the tables on the right side of the shop to be single customer seats while they are connected with each other?
The bar table has two useful features. One is that as soon as customers sit down, they order without any thinking time. But another awesome feature of the bar table is that when they are next to another bar table they don't connect. This comes with the draw back that you can only have one person per table, but if you have that one card where you have a group size of 1 that doesn't matter. Thanks for the question!
New Idle game
So I rebuilt this to the T and it works, except it's telling me I need a larger table setting to house more at once. Lol
So the reason my setup works is that I got that one card where the group size is only 1. The card is called individual dining. So until you have that setup you won’t be able to copy this restaurant exactly but if you look at another of my series called “ground to a halt” I have a situation where I didn’t get individual dining. In that case just make four big tables until or if you get individual dining.
@@Sir_Henk Gotcha, the moment I got the first three days over with, they wanted sugar or tea because my RNG sucked, and the build didn't have room for that. Lol
