- In this Range Report I take a look at and review the Browning Buck Mark Contour in stainless steel. I have heard great things about this pistol before getting a chance to review it. I can easily say this is one of the most accurate .22lr pistols I have ever shot. The trigger is great and the build is awesome. This video documents my personal thoughts, opinions and experiences with this rifle. Yours may vary.

Good morning, Jason, that is a great little trainer / competition pistol. They are very popular here in the real world of Oz. In fact, Dorothy has one in a dark aggressive salmon color. By the way Jason, as a general rule, all the good guns you have taken to the range, make you look good. And in this case, it makes you look like a serious competitor, I am giving you a 5 🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘 Rating
Thank you so much Andrew. I always enjoy your comments!
Great video on the Buckmark. From my experience it’s important to keep them super clean and lubricated, especially the feed ramp and slide rails. Magazines too. These are often ignored but I will give my mags a cleaning after each range visit. This routine seems to give me virtually no feeding issues.
Thank you and I think you are right. It is always important to keep most .22s clean.
hello,I have a standard model from 2003. and I made a shoulder holster stock like from mauser c-96, with lether sleave and cleaning rode , all like mauser had. can you imagen ?
Gold triggers are Browning’s trademark for their rifles, shotguns, and many pistols. They started installing gold triggers in the 1930s.
Very interesting. I did not know. Thank you for the information.
Buck marks seem very well made from the few ive played with
It really seems like a good platform, except for the field strip.
I do like the Buck Mark, and that one looks awesome, great range report.👍
I have shot them before, but I've never owned one. I used to have a Ruger MKII in 22/45. Both Ruger and Browning have legendary accuracy in their target pistols. And my Ruger MKII sure made me look better than I was to. I am not really in the market for another semi auto 22lr, if I was, the Browning would be a consideration.👍
I can see why you say that. I was very impressed by this pistol.
Great gun I have three of them with 20k plus rounds spent and counting. We hit golf balls and water balloons at 25 yds all the time. Good review and I do have a different red dot site on mine, ultra dot. It’s your magazine my misfeeds are not consistently the same. By the way this is my first comment on TH-cam so take this as a compliment.
Thank you so much! It means a lot to me.
Great pistol!!! I have a Buckmark Camper I really like. Dislike cleaning it though. I also have the Ruger 22/45 lite which is my absolute favorite. Accurate too
Yes it is. I am releasing a video on the field strip soon.
I love the Buckmark! My only complaint is they are kinda a pain to clean and it only holds 10 rounds.
Yes it is. I am doing a Field Strip video on it as well.
Hey Jason, great video as always do. Thanks for sharing. Quick question, i want to upgrade the front sight with optics. Any suggestions please?
For me the Trijicon SRO is the best civilian red dot. It has a big window and is very durable.

Thanks for the reply. Sorry I didn't explain my question well. I mean steel fibre optic front sight. Currently it is iron front sight.
How did they make such a light trigger? My URX’s trigger is much heavier.
I do not know.
I am willing to bet this one had the Heggis flip done.
Is this the 5.5 barrel or the 7.5?
5.5
@@thetexasgunvault great! I just order that 5.5 barrel for my buckmark camper. along with the scope rail mount so it will look like yours.
this one or Mark Iv?
Not sure I know what you mean. It was one of the later generations of this pistol.
