I never waste conditioner when I pre poo. It suppose to protect from the shampoo process. I love using oil because it treats my dandruff, helps with hair growth and adds extreme shine. I mix Olive, coconut, grapeseed, and Jamaican black castor oil and pre poo with that. Y’all will thank me later lol 🤗
Jada Ohhhhh....... just the usual. We couldn’t shut up! Haha! 🤷🏽♀️ Me and alllllllllllllll my detail and Taylor and alllllllllll her detail. That’s all. 🤷🏽♀️🤓🦁➰💕
I have done prepoos with oil and with conditioner. I prefer using oil for prepoo because it is cheaper. Essentially all prepooing does is lessen the striping effects of clarifying shampoo. I would never prepoo with deep conditioner because they are more expensive for one and two the shampoo will just strip the effects of the deep conditioner away. Additionally deep conditioners are meant to used on clean hair for the best results, so I would not recommend using it on dirty hair because it would not have its full effect. Prepooing is good for any time of the year, you just notice the effects more in the winter time. Hope this helps.
I just did a big chop. I cut all my relaxed hair off. Currently rocking a cute pixie. I am loving my curls. In the summer I would spray my hair with a leave in conditioner and oil mixture. I would then let my hair air dry. I am so worried now about the weather getting colder and how I will manage in the cold very cold winter months.
Taylor. I watched your Friday live from a few weeks ago. I have dry skin as well. I started using Josie Moran's Argan oil on my face and cuticles a few years ago. No more dry skin or patches. It's a bit pricey but a big bottle lasts for a year and its worth it. You guys are my new Youtbe besties.
Lori Anne, I finally tried the Créame Restore and omg it is amazing! My 4c hair was so defined and had so much slip! By the way, Camille rose posted our comments about that products on their website!
Alexis Simmons Yaaaay!!! I’m sooo glad you got your hands on it! That is wonderful! Hanks for letting us know about the comments showing up 👏🏽🤓🦁💕➰-LoriAnne
Prepooing is simply adding oils (including oils from conditioner) so you're hair isn't stripped from shampoo. Most people choose between prepooing (adds oils to hair) and cowashing (adds oils to the cleanser), usually depending on hair texture and porosity. My fine low porosity hair prefers prepooing overnight with a penetrating oil over cowashing because I can let the oil sit for hours to allow for full penetration, but of course I can do both. And the only difference between adding oil to a regular conditioner and just using a deep conditioner is that one is a tested formulation. Deep conditioners are designed to penetrate the hair. Regular conditioner is less concentrated and may or may not penetrate. By adding a penetrating oil to a regular conditioner, you increase the concentration of active ingredients and increase the penetrating properties.
I clicked on this video and started reading the description so I was like let me check the length of the video. I almost shed tears of joy when I saw an hour 😂 I know this gonna be good! love you guys 🎉💕 btw Taylor I love your whole look 😍👌
Yes, yoy can pre-poo with whatever you want (just oil, regular condish w/oil, deep condish, mask, etc). It increases moisture and helps with detangling before yoy shampoo. I pre-poo occasionally, but what I have been doing more often is adding oil to my shampoo and to my conditiiner(adding oils and/or heat to a regular conditiiner makes it a deep conditioner). And I always deep condish under a dryer for 30 mins (I have fine, dry, high porosity 4a hair). 😘 Gotta get that Ouidad oil cleanser 😮
I have hair more on the wavy side/looser curls and I absolutely love to prepoo with coconut oil! It makes all of my tangles melt away and i notice a huge difference when do that extra step and when i don’t. It makes my hair so much more manageable for the rest of the week! So I use it on dry hair, let it sit for as long as possible, then wash it out with a low poo! Sooooooo bomb!
I must've watched like a gazillion of your videos in the last 24hrs trying to figure out what my holy grail collection is and can I just say - You officially have yourself a curly girl fan here in Hong Kong ha! - So much handy info and tips! You guys are amazing !
I was ROLLIN' at your intro, God I love you guys! When there's nothing on TV, I pull up the Lorianne & Tayloranne Show (any video!) and not only do I learn something by the end of it but you guys CRACK ME UP! It's like you guys write a 'comedy routine' before you come on camera, don't change a thing!
I agree...I’m cracking up each video especially today! Monday morning rush to work and I’m just laughing away!!! Thanks for great content and great fun! ❤️❤️❤️
I like to prepoo with tropic isle red pimento oil on my scalp, massage it in, and then dampen my hair with water and put coconut oil or SheaMoisture Manuka honey protein treatment on my hair, I put my aluminum shower cap and my turbie twist on top and Let it sit for 15 minutes, try it out if you want, I haven’t done it in quite some time but will do again. ❤️
Just tried the creme restore this morning and omg! LoriAnne put all of us on so thank you lol! I had so much buildup and flakes because I tried a new gel and cream combo and was not sure how it'd do as far as getting my hair clean and having slip and moisturization it was everything tho, I was mind blown 🤯 lol I bought 3 bottles recently when yall told us they restocked so thank you!! 💕
TV5 Wow! Make sure you leave a review on the CRN page and let them know #madcurlsmademedoit 🤓🦁💕➰Thank you so much for letting us know. I told y’all 🤓💕➰-LoriAnne
Very informative video ladies. Pre Pooing is a matter of preference. You can use an oil or conditioner. I prefer to use Amla or Olive Oil for my pre poo. This helps tremendously in prepping my hair before shampooing or co-washing. It leaves my hair non stripped and makes detangling a breeze. Also congrats on 11k ➰🎉💕
Love this video. Getting me pumped to fight the dry hair! I pre poo with grape seed oil, olive oil, and almond oil. I mix them and sit under an electric cap. I also pre poo sometimes with deep conditioner. You can use either or mix them together and do both. I always apply and use my electric cap. It is supposed to help prevent the stripping of oil before cleansing. My hair loves it in the winter. Great video!!!
The intro was hilarious ❣️ You two have moved to my #1 spot to watch...love you both. Keep being yourselves...beautiful mother and gorgeous daughter duo🔥❤️🔥
Great video very informative!! I add my deep conditioner on soaking wet hair place 2 plastic caps on over my hair then sit under a hooded dryer for 15 / 20 minutes sometimes 30 minutes then rinse out. Works amazing, I would think it would be the same benefit as a steamer.
Very in depth video! Thank you guys over and over for sharing with us ! I absolutely enjoy all the videos! I must bring up your live videos on Fridays ; it really brings a laughter to my face it cheers me up when my day is kinda moving in a wrong direction! I thank God for you guys , much love ❤️
I always deep condition like a maniac. I try many products, but after DC, my hair currently likes a large amount of Natty Naturals Leave in, followed by the CRN Whipped Aloe, topped with the CurlMix flaxseed gel. My hair loves that stuff! Thank you for the LOVE. T
Y’all stay keeping me hip to the best natural hair products, I love it! I feel you one should use just water and oil to pre poo. Using conditioner before shampoo can be unnecessary in most cases, simply letting water and oil sit in ur hair before shampooing and conditioning is just enough. I think most deep conditioners are not good for pre pooing unless said so on the product label. Deep conditioners have tiny proteins that are meant to penetrate clean hair so it’s not good to pre poo deep conditioner before washing hair
Y'all get some Mielle Organics Avocado Hair Milk. Use it as your leave in. Nobody's hair is as dry as mine, and it works by itself. As for cleansing, I add a drop of shampoo to a glop of conditioner in my hand and apply it to my hair in the shower before rinsing it quickly. Try this cleansing method if you have super dry hair like mine.
love u guys sooo much!!!! wearing my curls as well this winter after wearing it straight for about 2 months this fall and now i plan on wearing it curly the rest of the curly months to challenge myself and keep it growing. love you guys!!! doing it with you haha
Great video and very helpful! I will definitely be deep conditioning bi-weekly lol twice a week! And shampooing less. And please try that Alikay Lemongrass Leave in...its amazing!
I prepoo for my scalp. Its my scalp treatments to either exfoliate, condition, or treat any flaking or anything that is going on. If I have extra buildup then I try to prepoo to aid in the removal of buildup.
I can’t wait for you to show me how you would use the Alikay line. I have the lemongrass and the shea butter and it was too heavy for me. But after washing it out. My hair was so moisturized. I have to figure how to put it together. 🤪
Love the necklace Taylor Anne ! Where did you get it if you don’t mind sharing ? Love your channel ! It’s Def an inspiration to all. I live in CT as well with all sorts of wether so this video is helpful.
renata6488 Here is the necklace if you’re interested: www.soufeel.com/personalized-layered-stars-name-necklace-set-of-2-14k-gold-plated-copper.html I also have a code with them “Tayus15”, it saves 15% 😄
I got one of those old spray bottle, I use cheap conditioner, such as VO5 anything in that family that says moisture and Aussie moist. I fill my bottle halfway with water and add conditioner. I shake the bottle to mix everything together section off my hair, saturate my hair and start detangling. I never use my expensive conditioner as a pre poo. I pre poo mainly to the detangle my especially and I haven't washed it in two weeks.
LoriAnne, you can use both a normal conditioner with oils that you add yourself or a manufactured deep conditioner for a pre-poo. Penetrating oils like coconut oil, avocado oil and olive oil are supposed to be the best for both pre-pooing and deep conditioning. I even like to add penetrating oils to my deep conditioners to make them more effective. Hope this helps :)
Sonya Neal Yes, That Line was amongst our favorites last year. As a matter of fact it made our #1 for 2017. It will be in rotation on our “days off”. 🤓🦁💕➰
I never liked pre-pooing. I found it a waste of time simply because I use devacurl’s no poo which is very moisturizing. I do detangle prior to cleansing though with the Tresemme nourish conditioner.
I will be joining you in Alaska!!! I am so over this hot and humid weather. I have two daughters and I know exactly what you are talking about LoriAnne!! Mama knows! Wow I see you are at 11k subscribers. Congrats! LoriAnne do you still use the Quidad Curl Immersion Low Lather Shampoo? Pre-pooing with oils or a hot oil treatment helps and I do them more in the winter. There are people who do their deep conditioner before shampooing as a pre-poo treatment. I deep condition my hair every wash day which is every week. I used the LOC method early on in transitioning during the winter and it really helped my hair. When it gets really cold I use the LOC method and seal with jojoba oil, so I guess that is the LOCO method. LOL. Yes I can tell the weather is changing, I am shedding more. A little disheartening but very normal. Great video ladies.
The purpose of a deep conditioner is to add extra moisture in your hair by using a shampoo you basically just strip all that out. Now, if you want to use a rinse-out conditioner first to detangle (I do that, type 4 hair does as well), shampoo, and then follow up with a deep conditioner that's okay. Conditioner first just help with detangling, I started doing this and cut my detangling down by half. Oils. Do not apply on wet hair. Oil and water DO NOT MIX. Pre-poo, are basically hot oil treatments, using aloe vera gel, anything to help detangle hair the day before or the day of your wash day.
I have been trying new products from Wilder Labs. I was out of town for work and grabbed it from a walgreens. They have diff lines according to what you need but you can also mix n match which is the cool part for me. They are natural products also. Plus they include proteins. Oh and all the deep conditioners give option of leave in or rinse out. My fave is the the over night repair leave in serum from the green line. A lot of ppl are not on it yet but a youtuber did a review. I took a chance and I will def keep them on my roster lol. One more thing there is a surprise inside the deep conditioner tops.
After applying deep conditioner, I wrap my hair in Saran Wrap, a wet towel and get under a hood dryer; ( learned it from a stylist years and years ago.) Works for my 3b/3c thin, high porosity, low density hair🤷🏽♀️
Hi ladies!!! U both look gorgeous as always! The timing of this video is perfect as I was just thinking about tweaking my routine for winter. Your video about glycerin taught me a lot so my glycerin products will be back in rotation for winter. Be blessed and keep up the great work😊
Growing up mixed it was hard finding products that worked for my 3b/3c hair. I have to have products that are in between you know not to light or too heavy but definitely moisturizing.
Derrick M We definitely can relate to your hair struggles. But we have found since being on this journey and on this channel, in particular that sometimes it’s more about the technique than anything. But with that said we understand that all of our journeys are unique to us. Thank you for commenting. 🤓🦁💕➰
i really love the color scheme for this video, that is a pretty blue shirt and taylor your green eye shadow i love it!. i also love that you guys gave us a whole hr video!! of course my product junkie senses started tingling and i have some products on my list to go out and buy so i can try them lol.
Thank you so much for sharing these tips & products! I’m currently transitioning products right now for the Fall & Winter. So I’ll definitely check out some of the ones that you both have mentioned! 🤗❤️
When I pre poo I add oils in my deep conditioner and pre poo that way bc my hair is so dry always!!! My hair is colored and wavy/curly so its dry like a desert.
The CRN Creme Restore is on the Camille Rose Naturals website now. It's under Cleansers. I Pre-Poo all year round. It adds moisture to my hair in addition to melting away my tangles. I finger detangle & pre-pooing makes it a breeze. It is an extra step. One I've been doing for quite some time. I agree you're either into or not.
Yes, I do notice a difference in my hair with pre-pooing in terms of less shedding & breakage which helps retain length. I rarely skip on the pre-poo & when I do I notice the difference in my hair so I try not to skip out on the pre-poo.
I love you guys! I swear the best part of my wash day is getting to watch you guys while I apply my products! I've been eyeing the camille rose naturals curl love moisture milk as a leave-in, what do you guys think about it? I noticed you guys mentioned a few camille rose products but that one wasn't mentioned when it comes to moisture. Love your channel!
Taylor Anne, I notice that in a few videos you have mentioned that you don't like shea moisture shampoos. Is there a reason that you dont like them as oppised to, say, the as I am long and luxe? Also you ladies seem to love your co washes. Do you just use them to detangler and moisturize, or does it also give a cleansing effect? I usually just stick with a shampoo to cleanse and a hair masque to detangle/moisturize with.
shelly figuereo Yes, I have mentioned that SM shampoos are not what I reach for and the reason being, I find them drying for my hair. My mom and I enjoy Cowashing because we both feel that not only are they detangling we also feel they clean our hair. They are our preferred method of cleansing, in general. But on any given day, being product testers things change. Being natural is a journey and we enjoy the freedom this brings with experimenting 🤓🦁💕➰
I live and die by the sulfates because of my scalp eczema. I use those really harsh medicated shampoos that thoroughly cleanse my scalp and remove all the scales and gross dead skin, so prepooing is a must for me. I tend to use really heavy oils on my hair as like a hot oil/prepoo mix, and when the shampoo slides down my hair it washes it all out and it leaves some softness behind. I always immediately follow up with a super moisturizing DC, so my hair always gets treated after going thru that ordeal lol. It's not super moisturized after a shampoo because that's not what the shampoo was made to be, but I find that my hair doesn't feel like hay if I use the heavy oil prepoo beforehand. So yea I think prepooing works only if you have to use harsh shampoos. Maybe one day there'll be a medicated shampoo that takes the needs of fragile, curly hair in mind but until then this is my best option imo 🤷🏾♀️
Love your video! Yes you definitely can use a deep conditioner to pre poo your hair what I like to do is spray water on my hair then apply deep conditioner before I shampoo. You can also mix oil with your conditioner or deep conditioner and pre poo with that! Of course you can use your favorite hair oil to pre poo with:)!
Here is the necklace if you’re interested: www.soufeel.com/personalized-layered-stars-name-necklace-set-of-2-14k-gold-plated-copper.html I also have a code with them “Tayus15”, it saves 15% 😄
Bring in the sales! Yay ! An hour long vid, let me grab my snack! I don't like doing my hair in the winter ❄️, I hide under my hat, keep my hair in twists, and I hibernate...anyway, lemme watch these shenanigans 😆😂🤣❄️
I've been binge watching your videos, you guys are so much fun to watch! I dont even have your curl pattern lol have yall thought of adding a bit of castor oil to your shampoo to add moisturization? I've been doing it for quite a while and I've noticed less frizz
This helps so much! I tried out pre-pooing 1st w/ oil, 2nd w/ conditioner, 3rd w/ both. Ultimately, it was a waste of my time, as I had discovered that I have a very oily scalp (idk why it took me so long either... just trying to find my way I guess). Now, I focus on keeping my scalp clean w/out drying out my curls! I'm just starting to branch out into Instagram & Etsy natural hair brands. Trying out K. J. Naturals Stretch & Curl Custard (as a 1 n' done). Also, thanks to your thorough review, I'm waiting on 2 shipments of Curl Mix (flaxseed gels & 1 moisturizer). I'll definitely look into the Mielle Pomegranate line, & more of Curl Junkie! Thanks for this video!!! 💖💖💖💖💖
Thanks for these tips for winterizing our hair products.... You mentioned protective styling etc. What about the friction that comes from wearing winter hats, scarves and a wool coat or blazers? How do you protect your hair from the dryness caused by these?
Maria Barnes Thank you for watching and commenting. The issue about the friction and the dryness it causes has not been an issue for LoriAnne (my hair is too short and I don’t wear winter hats). TaylorAnne has really never experienced any noticeable issues. However, in my perusing around the Soultanicals.com website I noticed a product they sell called “kink-Sink Intense Moisture Sealant. In essence a oil based product to seal in moisturized hair to prevent this exact problem you have addressed in this question. You may want to go check out that site. Or after reading what the product is meant to do, I probably would just seal the ends of my hair or whichever areas of concern in your head that may come in contact with Winter articles of clothing with an oil or a blend of oils. hope this has helped you out. If anyone else has any suggestions please feel free to add to this conversation. 🤓🦁💕➰
Love this video! I will definitely be coming back to this when it's time to buy new products now that it's turning chilly in NYC. I gotta try creme of nature honey twisting cream, I've never tried that line before, also gotta keep checking for the creme restore, I slept on it and it sold out.
ohitsmelissa So glad that you enjoyed this video and will be referencing it throughout the colder months. Seeeeeee??? 🤣 you cannot “sleep” on that Creme Restore 🤣 🤓🦁💕➰
That is weird I bought the alikay naturals curl refresher last week and Ive used it since and it comes out as a mist, also the mane choice refresher is on my holy grail list 😍
Hi Ladies, I'm loving the look u are rock in today Tay, makeup, your top, and that necklace is so freakin cute and feminine, where did u get it, if u don't mind sharing? I just noticed how defined and coiled your curls are Lorianne, WOW I've never seen ur curls that defined. I may have missed it if u mentioned it, was listening to y'all while getting some work done, but can u tell me what u have in your hair, please.
Tash Velez Hey Tash 👋🏽 Thank you. LoriAnne has MC “Do it Fro the Culture” leave in and gel and TaylorAnne has CRN Almond Jai and Curl Maker. Tay’s necklace is from a company called soufeeljewelry. She has a code “Tayus15” to save 15% off. They have really cute pieces. 🤓🦁💕➰
I am new to your channel. OMG. You guys remind me SO much of me and my daughter. I'm definitely exactly like the mom. Just stat rambling. And she just stares at me, then I get, MOM REALLY? . I think this is my favorite channel. LOL. Please keep up the good work.
Alisa Moore Haha! Welcome! Welcome to our channel. If you are like me, then you’ve come to the right place because I definitely do my share of talking (shall we say 🤣). Definitely comment because we do talk back. Enjoy the channel 🤓💕➰-LoriAnne
I prepoo to get rid of tangles before I shampoo because they’re way harder to get out after. I use VO5 conditioner because it’s cheap but lately I’ve been using African Prides prepoo from the miracle moisture collection
Re: pre-poo oh boy! Ok, I don't really pre-poo, I used to, but I feel it's an additional step and a bit unnecessary. The important thing is to moisturize your hair during or at the end of the washing process (loc method or whatever method). The Green Beauty Channel has a great video on whether we should prepoo with oil or conditioners. I prefer using oil, if I really need to prepoo I'll do an hot oil treatment with a hot towel and a plastic bag. Sometimes, I think that Naturals like to do the most, just keep it simple and be consistent! Yes, the Q-Redew does not last! Mine still works but I don't use it much. Steam is a dream for hair. Wow, so much interesting info in this video, I'm watching and commenting at the same time! Let me catch my breath! 😜 I love ❤️ anything Soultanicals! But shipping ...chile! Takes forever! 🙄 But I do think it's one of the best brands, been using them since I started my transition. The Aalikay lemongrass is the truth! 🍋I also love the Honey 🍯and Sage deep conditioner, the Creme delight and the refresher. Lovely colours on you ladies! Great video !
Arabesque Jacob Thank you Alex. Then you will be delighted when we bring Alikay to our channel. Thank you for sharing your prepoo knowledge for others to learn from. 😘🤓🦁💕➰
Ossie R I don’t prepoo either and the Ouidad Oil Shampoo is like no other kind of shampoo Ive ever used. As far as shampoos go, it’s amongst my favorites 🤓💕➰-LoriAnne
I want to get my hands on carols daughter soon, and alikay! Heard great things from the lines. The eden BW leave in & hydration serum did not go well with my type 3 curls 😳 the serum worked better for me as a leave in You know you’re a product junkie when u watch this whole video❤️😍
morganaalyia13 Haha! I know! That is true fellow product junkie. Thank you for sticking with this looooooong video. We just couldn’t stop talking 🤣🤷🏽♀️🤓🦁💕➰
Hi ladies have you guys ever used wetline extreme gel? I would love 💗 to see a video from you guys on this product and what your thoughts 💭 are on this product.
I think prepoos are mainly used when washing with strong sulfate shampoos to prevent them from stripping the hair too much. I don't think prepoos are used when co-washing or when using low poo or sulfate free shampoos since they generally aren't going to strip your hair. I personally don't prepoo since I just don't use shampoos that are harsh or going to strip my hair.
I also pre pool with hot oil treatment. My hair loves argan oil and I also products from two shops on etsy.com. These ladies handmake their products themselves and they work so phenomenal. If you want to check it out. My fave her name is CeCe Naturals. I like her fermented rice hair mask and the fenugreek oil and the mud mask. She has more I need to try. Love you guys channel
Prepooing products, are in my opinion, dependent on the state of your hair prior to shampooing. If you feel you need a good detangling session, most of the time, you would go for more conditioner based prepoo, where if you are more worried about moisture retention, you'd go for an oil based pre-poo. I do not pre-poo. I dabbled with it, but then I started to ask myself what was the point? Frankly for scalp reasons, I have to shampoo. Most of the time, if you are shampooing, it's to get rid of product build up, so why put a bunch of oil/conditioner on top of all the product you used (wouldn't think it would penetrate through buildup) and then rinse it down the drain. Seems like a waste of time and money.....
I live in Houston Texas so i don’t really know what winter is lol but I just ordered the algae renew deep conditioner and the Jane carter nourish and shine butter!
Brit Ferguson It may be best to just wet the hair completely in the shower and condition the hair and proceed with your stylers. I have a hair steamer and rarely use it. Everyone is different but if I’m already gonna get in the shower, I might as well my wet my hair down instead of teasing my hair with steam. 😍
I love you guys, Taylor Ann looks so familiar.....has she modeled before? You guys are amazing and reminds me of the relationship that I had with my mom before she passed away. I am also an Ann with my sister. I am Maria Ann and my sister is Monica Ann. She is an amputee and she has the best hair...how could I get companies to send her samples of the hair products?
theogstasimay That would be considered pre-pooing. 😃 It’s kind of like a layer of protection before using shampoo. If we are incorrect any of our subscribers more knowledgeable than us will correct us, if we have misspoken. 🤓🦁💕➰
taylors hair frizzy and dry still literally looks amazing, that's a whole loook
Oh wow! Thank you so much haha - TA ❤️
Right?! Taylor, your dry hair is one of my hair goals.
Nice! Sounds really moisturizing for the winter! I’m going to try it! -TA
I too have an issue with flakes and was worried about cowashing because I didn't think it would help. How often do you prepoo and shampoo?
shelly figuereo I pre poo once a week as I shampoo. I cowash more in the summer as a mid week bridge to my next wash day so my stays hydrated.
What did we do to deserve a whole 1 hour video?? 😄 I love you guys 💖✨
Jada Ohhhhh....... just the usual. We couldn’t shut up! Haha! 🤷🏽♀️ Me and alllllllllllllll my detail and Taylor and alllllllllll her detail. That’s all. 🤷🏽♀️🤓🦁➰💕

I just saw this said an hour pressed pause and went and got a snack and a bai drink. I’m here for the long video
Ashley Harris oh yes! What flavor BAI? I have just plan Coconut by my bed today. 🤓💕➰-LoriAnne
I’m trying the strawberry lemonade one but I’m not sure if I’m a fan or not.
I can’t figure out if I like that one either haha it’s like I do, but I don’t, but I keep drinking it anyway 😂 -TA
Exactly! I’m half way done and I’m still not sure
I like! I like. Sometimes mother and daughters don’t always have good chemistry but you all work well together. Thanks for the winter product tips!

M.A.D.CURLS you’re welcome!!
Alexandria East Thank you for giving a detailed explanation of prepooing for us and those in the comments. Your comment was very informative 🤓🦁💕➰
I clicked on this video and started reading the description so I was like let me check the length of the video. I almost shed tears of joy when I saw an hour 😂 I know this gonna be good! love you guys 🎉💕 btw Taylor I love your whole look 😍👌
Dominique Dacres Awwww...... Thank you for appreciating what we do. 😘
Me too lol!! Something fun to listen while I type these work notes!! Lol
Thank you for sharing! This was really informative! 🤗
Awww my fav mother daughter duo! Y’all so cute. Momma looking gorgeous and TaylorAnne looking fabulous. Love from Toronto ❤️
Brit Ferguson Thank you Miss Brit 😘🤓💕➰-LoriAnne
I have hair more on the wavy side/looser curls and I absolutely love to prepoo with coconut oil! It makes all of my tangles melt away and i notice a huge difference when do that extra step and when i don’t. It makes my hair so much more manageable for the rest of the week! So I use it on dry hair, let it sit for as long as possible, then wash it out with a low poo! Sooooooo bomb!
Leslie Lua Wow! Thank you for sharing your tips for the wavy folks 👍🏽🤓🦁💕➰
I know I should be reading before I go to bed, but I'd rather relax to this beautiful video. Thanks for the knowledge ladies 🤗
Tersh Ozoa Great choice 👍🏽🤣🤣🤣 we are glad to spend some time with you before bed. Haha! But make sure you get your reading in 🤓🦁💕➰
I must've watched like a gazillion of your videos in the last 24hrs trying to figure out what my holy grail collection is and can I just say - You officially have yourself a curly girl fan here in Hong Kong ha!
Awwww....... Dolores you a real one! Some can’t handle our nonstop nonsense. Haha! “Can’t stop won’t stop” 🤓🦁💕➰
I agree...I’m cracking up each video especially today! Monday morning rush to work and I’m just laughing away!!! Thanks for great content and great fun! ❤️❤️❤️
Felicia Aldridge Haha! You’re Welcome 👍🏽🤣🤣🤣-LoriAnne
Definitely need more moisture in the winter time. We do have some cold days here in FL. So I need to get me some of your recommendations.
since summer is coming can you guys do a summer hair routine/tips if you don’t already have one? you guys are gorgeous! ❤️
The Mane Choice’s Heavenly Halo Collection has a great pre-poo! I use it throughout the winter for extra moisture.
Also congrats on 11k ➰🎉💕
shelly11134 Thank you Shelly! You saw it before I did 🤣🤣🤣 11k 👏🏽🤓💕➰-LoriAnne
D Curly Thank you for sharing your tips. Good to know what you do 🤓🦁💕➰
Where did you get your electric cap?
D Curly Where did you get your electric cap?
Carnettia Harris I got mine on Amazon. Just search up electric heating cap. I’ve had mine for years.
Lost Woman Thank you for watching us and sharing your tip for adding moisture to your hair. All contributions are helpful 🤓🦁💕➰
Ali B Awww...... That feeling goes both ways. We very much enjoy what we do and the MADCURLS Fam we do it for. Love you guys 😘🤓🦁💕➰
I just bought the lemongrass leave in last week. It was AWESOME on my hair. I love it :)
Davina Pullen Thank you for sharing. I can’t wait to use it myself -LoriAnne 🤓💕➰
Y’all should try the honey leave in collection from Camille rose naturals - that is a super moisturizing leave in conditioner 👏🏽👏🏽
Thank you! I am ready for the winter!
Keisha Slade You are so Welcome. Winter.....Here we come ❄️❄️❄️🤓🦁🤣
I always deep condition like a maniac. I try many products, but after DC, my hair currently likes a large amount of Natty Naturals Leave in, followed by the CRN Whipped Aloe, topped with the CurlMix flaxseed gel. My hair loves that stuff! Thank you for the LOVE. T
teeswaran Thank you for watching us and shTing your tips for others to learn from. 😘🤓🦁💕➰
T.A. - love that cozy sweater!
Treeko Simmons Oh wow! Thank you Treeko for dropping the knowledge about the deep conditioners and the protein. That was helpful 👍🏽🤓🦁💕➰
Taylor star necklace and sweater look amazing, love the hair.
Ellen Thank you so much Ellen -🦁💕➰
love u guys sooo much!!!! wearing my curls as well this winter after wearing it straight for about 2 months this fall and now i plan on wearing it curly the rest of the curly months to challenge myself and keep it growing. love you guys!!! doing it with you haha
Great video and very helpful! I will definitely be deep conditioning bi-weekly lol twice a week! And shampooing less. And please try that Alikay Lemongrass Leave in...its amazing!
Thank you because I was looking for a fall hair routine for this year
I prepoo for my scalp. Its my scalp treatments to either exfoliate, condition, or treat any flaking or anything that is going on. If I have extra buildup then I try to prepoo to aid in the removal of buildup.
I have a Huetiful steamer and I’ve had it for about 3 years. Use it faithfully every week
BrownSugaHoney3 Thank you for sharing this. 👍🏽🤓🦁💕➰
I can’t wait for you to show me how you would use the Alikay line. I have the lemongrass and the shea butter and it was too heavy for me. But after washing it out. My hair was so moisturized. I have to figure how to put it together. 🤪
That’s coming within the next few weeks! We are excited to roll out those videos! 🤗
Love the necklace Taylor Anne ! Where did you get it if you don’t mind sharing ? Love your channel ! It’s Def an inspiration to all. I live in CT as well with all sorts of wether so this video is helpful.
renata6488 Here is the necklace if you’re interested: www.soufeel.com/personalized-layered-stars-name-necklace-set-of-2-14k-gold-plated-copper.html
I also have a code with them “Tayus15”, it saves 15% 😄
M.A.D.CURLS thank you ! Most of your holy grail our mine too. Love most of the Soultanicals products, As I Am and Camile Rose.
Vernadine Mccullough Thank you so much for sharing your hair tips. Every contribution is helpful in this comment section 🤓🦁💕➰
Sarah Hernandez Thank you Sarah ❤️ You absolutely did help me out 😘🤓💕➰-LoriAnne
I’d like to see you two choose one another’s hair products! I think that’d be a great video!
That would be a fun video! 🤗➰
Yeaaa... Great video ladies and great recommendations.... I shall be be saving this video and referring back to this during the winter...
Yay! So glad it was helpful! 🤗❄️
I lnow too well aboitvthe weather changing daily. Kentucky weather! Will you guys be using the Curls To Go line this winter?
Be blessed and keep up the great work😊
Curls18 Thank you so much for your feedback. So glad we are helping you out 🤓🦁💕➰
Growing up mixed it was hard finding products that worked for my 3b/3c hair.
ReggaeInspired Thank you for watching and commenting. We are so glad that we can help you out on your journey 🤓🦁💕➰
Have you seen a difference in your hair in regards to growth with pre-pooing??
Yes, I do notice a difference in my hair with pre-pooing in terms of less shedding & breakage which helps retain length. I rarely skip on the pre-poo & when I do I notice the difference in my hair so I try not to skip out on the pre-poo.
Erika Lee Thank you for responding. I will have to give it a try once again.
Sarah Hope - Let me know how you make out. Try it for a month.
Erika Lee will do. I’ll come back to this thread and give you an update in a month. 😊😊
I swear you two need your own tv show! ❤️
Kynesha Dhanoolal Haha! We hear that all the time and I swear it’s how we’ve always been. It’s just how we go on. 🤷🏽♀️🤓🦁💕➰
Kynesha Dhanoolal I agree! A curly reality show!
Love the blue lori!
CatsCaughtVlogs Thank you -🤓💕➰
I live and die by the sulfates because of my scalp eczema.
Thanks for the video I knew nothing about winter hair care, loved it.😊
TJ LIGHTFOOT Awesome! Thank you so much for watching us 🤓🦁💕➰
So is it ok to use Spray leave ins as refresher sprays? Because I have Carols Daughter Leave in but I like it more as a refresher spray.......?
Bridgett Thomas I do they work for me great. My favorite spray leave in from CD is the Almond Spray. 🤓💕➰-LoriAnne
Necklace looks great taylor
CatsCaughtVlogs Thank you -TaylorAnne 🦁➰💕
Here is the necklace if you’re interested: www.soufeel.com/personalized-layered-stars-name-necklace-set-of-2-14k-gold-plated-copper.html

Bring in the sales! Yay ! An hour long vid, let me grab my snack! I don't like doing my hair in the winter ❄️, I hide under my hat, keep my hair in twists, and I hibernate...anyway, lemme watch these shenanigans 😆😂🤣❄️
Arabesque Jacob Haha! Oh yes! Always shenanigans 🤣🤣🤣🤓🦁💕➰
I've been binge watching your videos, you guys are so much fun to watch! I dont even have your curl pattern lol have yall thought of adding a bit of castor oil to your shampoo to add moisturization? I've been doing it for quite a while and I've noticed less frizz
Hiii! Thank you for watching us!! We haven’t thought about that but it seems like a fantastic idea!!
LOL these products all ways have these long names, The Super Kinky Springy Blue coiling custard!!
That product is made up btw, i hope lol
CatsCaughtVlogs lmfao I was hoping it was real aha
Brit Ferguson Haha! 🤣🤣🤣
Lea Butler Thank you for watching and leaving your comment. It was helpful 🤓🦁💕➰ps. Glad Curl Mix is working for you 😃
Thanks for these tips for winterizing our hair products....
@@MADCURLS thank you for responding, & for researching possible solutions. I'll check out that website now! 🙂
Maria Barnes You’re Welcome. Hope you find something that works for you this Winter 🤓🦁💕➰
TV5 Really? How interesting. Mine is a thickish purée looking and feeling product. 🤷🏽♀️🤓💕➰-LoriAnne
I just really want to know what type of color are your highlights? Box dye or salon? I want to do those colors!
I love the videos, keep them coming. You two are the best and funny
Aww thank you for watching!! ❤️🤗
TaylorAnne where did you get that sweater ? It looks so good on you!
Oh thanks, just wanted to know about the necklace! LOVE you gals! Keep up the good work! Love from The Netherlands!
Aaliyah Shabazz Thank you for sharing how and what you use to prepoo. 🤓🦁💕➰
I love ❤️ anything Soultanicals!
Love you two. I do wash and goes year round too. That Quidad oil shampoo sounds interesting. I don’t prepoo.
The eden BW leave in & hydration serum did not go well with my type 3 curls 😳 the serum worked better for me as a leave in
You know you’re a product junkie when u watch this whole video❤️😍
morganaalyia13 Haha! I know! That is true fellow product junkie. Thank you for sticking with this looooooong video. We just couldn’t stop talking 🤣🤷🏽♀️🤓🦁💕➰
"same old dried up questions" I HOLLERED 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hi ladies have you guys ever used wetline extreme gel? I would love 💗 to see a video from you guys on this product and what your thoughts 💭 are on this product.
We keep hearing about it! We totally are going to pick it up! 🤗
Only watched the intro and will watch the rest later ...hilarious 🤣. Makes me miss my mom.
April Baum Awww....... Thank you for watching us 🤓🦁💕➰
Woah? Did you guys say CT? Grew up in Waterbury now live near Bridgeport ❤️💕
Cee Kay Makes sense. Thank you for sharing. 🤓🦁💕➰
Flowetress06 Thank you for watching us and explaining how you prepoo 🤓🦁💕➰
I live in Houston Texas so i don’t really know what winter is lol but I just ordered the algae renew deep conditioner and the Jane carter nourish and shine butter!
brianna tyrone Yesssssss!!! 2 products that are amongst my favorites. That is Awesome! 👍🏽🤓🦁💕➰
I really needed this video, my hair is always so dry in the winter, thank youuu💛💛
Nitika You are very welcome. Thank you for watching us 🤓🦁💕➰
Love u guys...love that we get one on Sunday.
Thank you Melissa just thought our non-stop talking could keep someone company today, haha! 🤓🦁💕➰
Do you think steaming your hair in the shower works just as well as a traditional steamer?
Brit Ferguson It may be best to just wet the hair completely in the shower and condition the hair and proceed with your stylers. I have a hair steamer and rarely use it. Everyone is different but if I’m already gonna get in the shower, I might as well my wet my hair down instead of teasing my hair with steam. 😍
What did women do before showering was 17,000 steps?
I love you guys, Taylor Ann looks so familiar.....has she modeled before? You guys are amazing and reminds me of the relationship that I had with my mom before she passed away. I am also an Ann with my sister. I am Maria Ann and my sister is Monica Ann. She is an amputee and she has the best hair...how could I get companies to send her samples of the hair products?
The Aussie has silicones in it I thought silicones and sulfates are bad for curly hair
TaylorAnn why does your hair look more fizzy then normal?? It it a product that isn’t working on your hair or it just cause the change of the weather?
Tatiana Ragland The weather wreaked havoc on my hair. We discuss my hair in this video 🤣🦁💕-TaylorAnne
I don’t prepoo, but what if you saturate your hair with coconut or olive oil prior to shampooing?
theogstasimay That would be considered pre-pooing. 😃 It’s kind of like a layer of protection before using shampoo. If we are incorrect any of our subscribers more knowledgeable than us will correct us, if we have misspoken. 🤓🦁💕➰
Hiiiii, Have u ever tried form beauty products, if not could u make a video reviewing them
We will check them out! 🤗
Taylor Anne you look absolutely beautiful in this video that colour makes you pop
