    I liked that trail, was never hard to find the trail. I never saw that second Arch down below, but I believe the triple Arch is within the big arch. There are two small holes on the top and I believe they count those as the other two arches to call it the triple Arch.

      The Goldfields are underrated. We need to get back out and explore more of them sometime.

    Another great video! Jerry I watched a video of you and one of your buddies backpacking for a night and you played a short musical piece when you were getting up. I believe it’s a classical piece and I can’t find the video and I’m dying to know what the musical piece was? Can you help me. You and Tina have never made a bad video. Thanks for your help.

      Not sure what video you're talking about, but I usually use Edvard Grieg's "Morning" when I do a morning montage. Maybe that's it?

    Those red arrows might be there, to lead gold prospectors- to mines, digspots, etc. I was just out there yesterday. I'd recommend carrying sidearms out there. I've spotted a mountain lion in those areas, and there's no phone service there as well. Also I hoped you're using Garmin gps units(And not a smartphone.) My Garmin Montana has one great feature called 'tracks', that records my entire hike. just follow that visual route backwards, back to your vehicle. I also carry a Lifestraw.

    That area can be deceiving. Did the willow springs loop very close to there and that 4.7 mile loop according to All Trails Is really 7 + miles according to GPS recording .
    Los Dos Molinos south central ave.
    Finally did an edited video and have gained tons of respect for what you do in the process.
    Thx Again Jerry and Tina !

    I may be wrong but I think you can see this from a side trail off of Bulldog Canyon. I think I saw this same arch while in my Jeep. Couldn't get even remotely close to it. Lol great video always!

    • @JerryArizona
      @JerryArizona  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Definitely plenty of OHV/offroad routes out there. You could get a permit and drive a lot of this trail according to a sign on the gate at the parking lot.

    Jerry - My wife and I love checking out all of the great places that you and Tina adventure to. Do you by chance have a list anywhere of the cameras, gimbals, etc. that you guys use?

    • @JerryArizona
      @JerryArizona  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I need to make that video. Currently using mainly just a GoPro 9. No gimbal necessary since their stabilization in the GoPro 8. I also film on Canon EOS R sometimes. I use a Weebil S gimbal with that, but it's heavy and impractical for most hikes, so I usually stick with the GoPro.

    • @hideandgozekeproductions
      @hideandgozekeproductions 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@JerryArizona Thanks so much for the reply, I have an old Hero4 Silver and clearly need to upgrade. We have been shooting on that and camera phones and realize that we need to up our game. The gimbal was my next question, but I think that the stabilization solves for that. Anyway, thanks. We love the videos - keep them coming!

    Love watching the artistry of your camera skills no matter where you are. We yell, "OMG look at that angle, look at the perfect shot they got" ! So talented! If we just did the first part where it was well marked, would it still be worth It? And got to ask, what's your favorite Mexican restaurant in the Mesa, AZ area?

    • @JerryArizona
      @JerryArizona  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! I thought the Goldfields were pretty and unique, even without the arch. If you do try that, I recommend going right on that loop I marked out until the cave. It was pretty interesting. Turn around any time you feel like after that. Definitely pre-mark on GPS though. There are NO trail signs or markers. Even though the trail may be apparent, it would be easy to lose track of what trail you were on though.

    • @JerryArizona
      @JerryArizona  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      And for high end, Spotted Donkey was great. Usually, we go to Plaza Bonita, Macayos (strangely enough) or La Fonda Del Sol. El Patio at the Cottonwood road is probably our favorite, but it's up north. El Encanto in Cave Creek is good, but the wait is crazy.

  • @corydriver7634
    @corydriver7634 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Sometimes I think the idiots that markup the trail like “Red Arrow Guy” are just doing that to mess with people. I’m mean really? How does anyone think that’s helping? If they wanted to help it would have been easier to mark it with a cairn than drag a can of spray paint up there.

    • @JerryArizona
      @JerryArizona  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortunately, I've seen who I think did this online. They are very open that they do it, they do it on purpose, and they will not be discouraged or convinced that it's wrong. It blows my mind.
