Yayyy, I’m so excited to follow your baby knitting journey - you are much more prolific of a knitter than me so I can’t wait to see everything you make 😊. If you make the baby bear bonnet again (or the balaclava or the baby bear suit) I make a modification to the ears where I kitchener most of the way up and then run the yarn tail through the last 6-8 stitches (3-4 on each needle) and pull tight like you would when closing a hat top. It gives the ears a slightly more rounded look! Also, check out the good bear and good bunny patterns (and Susan B Anderson patterns in general) for no sew stuffed animal patterns!
Thank you so much! I'm planning on doing a round-up video close to her due date :) I am planning on making another baby bear bonnet in Drops merino extra fine (leftover from a baby blanket) so I'll definitely keep that in mind. Thanks for the tip!
Your baby knits are so much fun! I love making things for my nephew and just found out a close friend of mine is expecting. I have so many ideas of things to make but not enough time!
Right? Same here! I'm planning on prioritizing all of my small (0-3 months) clothes and making some larger sizes while I'm on maternity leave waiting for her to get here (in Norway you have to stop working 3 weeks before your due date, so I'll have nothing to do but knit and wait :D )
The KFO onesie/dress you made is SO cute and girly! I have a girl as well and I think that it looks a bit bigger for newborn size. Maybe have a back up coming home outfit just in case ;)❤
Thank you! The smallest size they had was 3 months so that's the one I made - I'll bring a backup too but I would definitely feel comfortable erring on the side of too big because I feel like I'll be so paranoid about trying to get her little arms and legs into clothing at first

I have the book Embroidery on Knits by Judith Gummlich which comes in english! It's really wonderful.
Thanks for the recommendation!
