The reason I dont have TV anymore is because of videos like this. Thank you for living the life everyone else wants to live. We hope you're enjoying it!
Yo bro, I live in the Michigan city area (where Lake Michigan touches Indiana) I’ve grown up here 22 years, fished the waters all my life. When you get down here I’d be happy to show you around some nice spots to catch some fish!! Would be the opportunity of a lifetime for me LIKE SO HE SEES PLEASE!
Banger video!! I had a smallmouth experience a bit like this on a canoe trip in Quetico provincial park. We were about a half hour into canoeing across the first lake and I caught a 20” 5lb smallie. For the entire week, nobody caught one less than 16” and there were 10 guys fishing nonstop. It was amazing fishing the entire trip.
Because this series is getting so much love, you should do the same thing going across devils lake. Definitely enough water to make it interesting and some monster fish.
I am absolutely loving your content. I feel like I'm out there with you guys! Keep up the tremendous work. So far my favorite fishing channel by far!!!
awesome place......easy to be living there .....fishin and watching that place.....its like a dream come true...congrats peric....so lucky dude .....😎😎😎
You are the god damn man AP! Keep up the quality content, can’t wait for the next adventure. Would love to see another trip to New Zealand, or maybe even BC? Another sturgeon mission would be sweet!
Lot of big fish in those inlet lakes too on MI side like charlevoix, Portage etc. Ive done good on kings out of Manistee, grand haven and south haven MI further south 100-115 Fow. Good fishing to ya✌
I loved seeing the baby in the background when you release the fish if you ever need any where to Fish in Illinois I have some ponds I got a 10 1/2 just the other day
Awesome video! I went on a trip to beaver island once and caught my PB smallmouth there, the fishing in saint james harbor isn’t bad, and is great in lake geneserath on the south side of the island, awesome to see you fishing there 🤙🏼🤞🏼
Hey Alex! If you see this, I actually just finished up my master's working with these smallmouth bass. These bass only get tagged once they're 300mm (~14 inches). If you still have the tag numbers I can give you the information of when they were tagged, how big they were, and their location. Most of these bass stick around the islands, but a few stray from some of the nearshore areas around Michigan!
What an amazing place to visit! Beautiful views and beautiful fish. Is July the recommended time of the year to fish for smallmouth up there? Anyone know better times? I'd love to tow my RT188 up there but don't think its big enough for the trip.
in my time fishing there the best spots are to find the mag schools down deep or my favorite is to look for a good size dip in the rock flats were they like to chill during the day and feed on the flats in the early morning and evening
Grew up near a constantly flooded river in southern Wisconsin. Always cracks me up to hear people have excitement for catching Carp. We avoid them at all costs
You should do more videos like this series traveling across different lake
Ya keep on making more of these lake traveling videos
Absolutely he should
Yass
Belle peche on aimerait avoir des smallies en france
Midwest Outdoors yes tell him to go down to one of the Great Lakes “LAKE ERIE”
The reason I dont have TV anymore is because of videos like this. Thank you for living the life everyone else wants to live. We hope you're enjoying it!
Love seeing how giddy you guys get on every fish. I do the same thing, on EVERY fish.
Let them GO let them GROW! I love your content man. 👏✌️
Love this Great Lakes tour. Would love to see you do Huron, Lake St. Clair, Erie and Ontario!
I agree with the Great Lakes
Also the Mississippi River from MN to LA would be an exciting adventure to watch
@@JB-jt9kd If only there wasnt like 100 dams lol
@@adriankubik6425 those are locks and dams.
@@JB-jt9kd what you mean
@@adriankubik6425 There are 29 locks and dams on the Mississippi River. You can travel all the way. Barges go from Louisiana all the way to Minnesota.

Facts
10 pounder😂
This is the first time ever I have actually been looking for a video to be uploaded. Love the series. Keep it up man.
That is the clearest water I’ve ever seen
Lol your name is based of apbassing and lunkerstv, couldn't decide apparently 😂😂
Unfortunately it’s a bad thing it’s so clear because it means the zebra and quagga mussels are eating all the plankton, the base of the food chain
Braden White lake michigan is naturally that clear
@@wiscoworm5971 Clear, but not that clear. The lakes have gotten much clearer in the last 20 years.
lyman135 yes. The mussel population has peaked already though so it should stabalize and hopefully an otter or beaver resurgence can cut them way down
Can’t stop looking at that super clean xs just feelin itself right in the back of your boat
Because this series is getting so much love, you should do the same thing going across devils lake. Definitely enough water to make it interesting and some monster fish.
That might be the biggest smile I have ever seen on AP's face
I am absolutely loving your content. I feel like I'm out there with you guys! Keep up the tremendous work. So far my favorite fishing channel by far!!!
Glad you enjoyed Northern Michigan! Truly blessed to live up here.
Goes to bass paradise. Doesn't bring a scale 🤦♂️
a scell as he calls it 😂
That means a big fish on film..
Bumb board better besides benign believe bulk best
Classic peric
Maybe they should make a Googan scale and then there would be a bunch of them on the boat. And they could showcase them each catch.
Crazy video Alex, can’t wait for the next one!
Tracy does AWESOME research at CMU on the Smallmouth bass. I worked with her during my master’s degree there!! Props to you for calling it in

Awesome smallie action 👍👍👍😎
That water is amazing. Here in California most smallmouth tend to be a little deeper the LM so rarely have the chance to site fish them. Great Job!
I’m in California where can I fish for bass?
capt. CannaBus north or southern Ca?
capt. CannaBus California is 770 miles from north to southern border.....I can help you just need your general location
Prop scars in the Great Lakes just like in that Keys. Huge fine if they catch someone making them
in my time fishing there the best spots are to find the mag schools down deep or my favorite is to look for a good size dip in the rock flats were they like to chill during the day and feed on the flats in the early morning and evening
Grew up near a constantly flooded river in southern Wisconsin. Always cracks me up to hear people have excitement for catching Carp. We avoid them at all costs
Ugh we hate them here on our river. Carp and Gar.
You could literally do this video on the Michigan side of the lake and have completely different content. I really like it. Keep this shit up AP
Love the video dude. I need to do a trip like this sometime! Looks like a blast
He sounded more excited for the carp than the bass😂😂
The longest trip go from Duluth to the golf of Saint Lawrence! Would be almost half way across North America by bass boat 😂😂😂
I absolutely love this series!!!!🔥🔥
Lake superior next??
