You can actually tilt that mirror glass all the way down and have access to the clips without having to remove the glass.

Warm the plastic up before you fit the new part, makes it more flexible and less brittle (sit in hot, but not boiling, water)

Great mod! Looks way better than the stock silver ones! I have black on my "Carbon steel gray" Clubsport + i have black roof. So i dont think itll look better on that design. But for you it looks bang on to that red color also! 👍

in north america we get gloss black mirror caps standard :( i bought a set of aluminum from aliexpress and cant wait to get them on, should look really nice, im just waiting to get my silver winter wheels on.

You don’t have to remove all the glass there just clip off a screwdriver does the trick
