This and TMNT Turtles in Time are my favorite beat'em ups on the SNES. Konami did a great job sticking to the source material and made a quality title. Thanks for the video Al!
Fat Clown: Take this Batman! (Jumps and bounces unthreateningly towards Batman ass first, but falls short) Batman: ...(hucks batarangs at his face) Fat Clown: Oof! Foiled agaiiiiiin...!
@@AL82RetrogamingLongplays Well, they CAN take quite a bit more damage, and you can REALLY see it in the driving stage where I don't think it's possible to shoot down some of the bikers anymore, but the REAL problem is that the enemies DEAL quite a bit more damage, if I am not mistaken, and some of the boss patterns and attacks get nastier than they are on earlier difficulties (you can REALLY see it in Catwoman 1's charging zigzag, Penguin 1's umbrella throws, and the amount of time you have to hide under or get through the Duck Vehicle when it raises (you can see how in Mania you aren't given enough time to fully cross unless it's using the missile rain attack)).
Great game! 😊 I saw very hardcore walkthrough of this game (on snes classic mini) on Co-op Gaming channel, poor guy had very long and hard battle with penguin in final and defeat him on last life 👍😉
That's because the SNES video and audio hardware is significantly better than the Amiga's. The Amiga has a better CPU and a lot more RAM. The Amiga is also a much older system.
IMO one of the greatest intros of a game. It's so cool to see the snow start to fall in front of the Konami logo and hear the dramatic music kick in.
Danny Elfman's music soars with this game as well (And in Adventures of Batman and Robin which I hope you sometime).

My second SNES game, right after Super Mario World. Best Christmas morning of my life.
One of the best licensed games of all time. Konami gave it their all on this game and it clearly shows.

Batman returns and batman forever my two favorite batman games snes .
I loved this game! Nice to see it done on the hardest difficulty. You get the "you are the true dark knight" screen at the end.
Fortunately, the higher difficulty levels don't turn the enemies into invincible damage sponges - I might not have bothered if it had :)
@@AL82RetrogamingLongplays Also, autofire helps! I used to have an SN Propad.

I appreciate you broke those windows as soon as possible. Not sure why but it was so much fun doing that.
When I was child I called the boss Campain V "Captain V". Hehehehehehehe

The SNES version of BATMAN RETURNS looks much better than the Amiga version 😹🐱👍.

I came faster than Quicksilver!
Vim mais rápido do que o Mercúrio!
Is this a Emulator or a real snes?
Seventh!
Cheguei em sétimo!
graphically speaking one of the best snes games. Seems almost an arcade machine
