The Brazilian funk at the end was a surprise but a very welcome one. It just adds to the song a lot. The whole mix of arabic, acoustic guitar, latino vibes and the funk is so well done. This slays.

it sounded so abrupt and weird i was expecting something different but maybe I will get use to it
basically the Brazilian funk (if it is) at the end surprises everyone that listens to it. I have watched enough TH-cam reactors reacting to this MV and so far 99% of them were surprised by it. what's better? everyone loves it. personally I was surprised by it too when first watching the MV. Mamamoo is no joke.
@@lomahtw I think probably after a few listens I will get used to it but it sounds so off the song was so mellow and empty even the chorus was empty then it just changed it, it made no sense but maybe after sometime
@@bleumiu1962 as experienced pro singers as Mamamoo along with their producer team, they wouldn't not know what you said or felt. In another word, they likely did it on purpose or for experimental purpose in terms of music. they knew it would highly likely surprise most listeners when they hear the transition. the end feeling could go either way - good or bad. however based on what I have watched so many reaction videos of it, it's the good way and it is almost all (presuming they were are genuine). I have watched literally a millions of Kpop MV reaction videos on TH-cam in the past decade. so I think the transition in the end is considered a successful experiment based on the results of many reactions I have watched. of course not everyone will like that but that's totally fine including yours. :D

The song throughout the whole thing gave me middle eastern/Arabic vibe and Latin too and at the end Brazilian vibe so basically this song is a mixture of amazing and brilliant music combined into one

Awesome reaction as always! Yeah, the interculturality in Aya is ASTOUNDING. Latinx, Pakistani, Indian, Arab moomoos are all commenting on how a certain aspect of the comeback is nodding toward their culture. The "cocktail"--as Efra put it--of instrumentals, outfits, choreography, sets gives us such a stunning, inoffensive mix of cultural flavours. No appropriation, no explicit statement. Just beauty and good music. How can we NOT stan Mamamoo?

This comeback was literally THE COMEBACK visuals, vocals, music production, rap, choreography, beat i mean every single thing was just so good

I was one of those people that needed to hear it a few more times. I'm glad I was able to enjoy it more after listening a few more times. Loved it

If you think from a historical context a lot of this makes sense. The beginning of the song uses such a nice Arabian-Desi style but with a twang of afro-reggae. But if you look in the beats during the raps they use an African beat that really flows with the other styles. In the backing guitar you almost hear a Spanish/Brazilian strumming it’s really evident in the more melodic parts. This all is able to flow with Brazilian funk so well. It’s astonishing how well produced this is, the structure of the song is so interesting to it’s constantly refreshing you with a good solid rap and then a melodic interlude, and finally with an awesome desi-flute drop. AYA has an amazing balance.
They sang whole live on their comeback show MONOLOGUE! They did dinga as well with little dance break and they sang several old songs live. It was not nice. It was the best ;) always love your reactions

I’ve always said they make world music that’s international, Travel Ep is just that. There’s literally no track on there that’s from an original Korean Pop standard, MAMAMOO doesn’t like doing those which is why KPOP gives them more hard times due to the fact their changing the sound of KPOP for females and in general. They also sold 100K In one day of the release, so people in South Korea and Worldwide is catching on to our girls very much more, soon they will be recognized like the great girl groups in the world as well 👑👑👑👑

Ya'll need to react more to Mamamoo's live performances especially when it comes to this song cause they tend to change the beat, rhythm literally they tend to change it all a bit but you still can distinguish the difference from the original and like their performances are on another level. before watching this vid i was certain that the chorus part have arabian vibes but after they said that it has reggaeton vibes im like "wait it does have that!!!" so now im confused lol many moos said that they incorporated a lot of art into it so im really happy to know new things about it
I personally think that the beat on the verses were more like a reggaeton vibe, and the chorus flute was more like arabian vibes and then the end was definitely a Brazilian vibe. So I love how they incorporated a lot of different styles in one song 💖
