The best explanation I’ve seen. I would thrive in his classroom. Some teachers are just better than others. His teaching like he really want you to get it…
For anyone curious: lightboard in use, and the camera was genuinely shot from this perspective. To make it legible to the audience, the whole video was flipped in post. Men's shirt buttons fasten from right into left, leaving the left on top. Given men's fashion tradition and that, In this video, his shirt is the opposite; I think it indicates that the effect was delivered in post. Very cool perspective. I'm also willing to concede that he is so talented with reverse autography that he figured he'd dress the part, too.
I find the definition of data science fascinating. It is an interdisciplinary field combining statistics, computer science, and domain knowledge to generate meaningful insights from data. What I like about data science is that it helps us to tackle challenging real-world challenges by exploiting the power of data and#AI.
Superb dude....such a crystal clear explanation. I've learned from this video that how to convey message or explain a huge amount of knowledge to others in an easy way. It shows that how much you have prepared and analysed all these to give us in this simple way. Great work dude. Keep it up.
Which programs should a data scientist use to visualize data, and which programs and languages are generally prioritized in the industry? As a sociologist, I want to do the same job I do in sociology in data analysis and take myself to the next level on this path. Which programs should I focus on?
In Today's world, everything is I.T, computers or bytes of information. It most important thing is how do you maintain data security and integrity whilst transferring data. The latter is also just as important.
This is great, both the content and the video creative. Wondering how it's shot. If the camera is in front of the glass, the writing would be flipped right?
Im starting my data science degree here in the uk in 8 weeks, im rubbish at maths but i got chatgpt, and ive already been learning python and sql so hopefully that will help, but panicking about maths part abit, this is my first time studying in my life, im 40, graduate at 43, no brainer, do it guys, ive already got a website portfolio.
A main objection to this presentation is including "Business" as a pillar of data science - you can have data science in government, academia, NGOs, general knowledge, AI, etc etc - or is it that the B in IBM means business?!
Thank you for this very precise video. A follow up question that I had was what are the technical tools that are used for each step of the process that you described?
It was so good 😌 ...will you do a video on machine learning product and machine learning in production environment. At last machine learning engineering and MLops
I studied Relational databases as a specialty and now I study materials engineering at the university what I want is to combine these two domains using data science so I would like to know what would you guys suggest for me and thanks in advance !
Before I say something on the content, tell me how you have made this vide. You write facing the audience and it is from left to write. Please explain. That is also another tutorial you know.
Either get a degree or do the IBM data science specialty on Coursera. That’ll give you a good long starting point. Don’t focus on being an expert, focus on starting and not stopping once you do.
I think it would be really great to mirror the video in X axis in your editting softwares, like premier pro or ..., so we could read what you write easier
is this a good career path to start with at 33 years old? I've come from an 8 years old career as a web dev but i don't know, this looks far more interesting and fun to me, I'm just scared about starting over, the job demand it has and so on. great video by the way.
Interesting. So like... can anyone get into this field from scratch? AND, in high profile crime units like the CIA and FBI, for example, can you start from scratch with this stuff and go work there? Thanks!
I have a bachelor degree in industrial engineering and I have been working in the quality field (quality management system and iso 9001 certification) fo2 years and I am thinking now to study masters in data science. Do you think it's a good combination?

Thank you dude, i was wondering why we are not seeing the handwritten in reverse. Thats the first thing that come to my mind when he begin writing.
Thank you! I thought he was just so talented which is why IBM hired him to do this video! 😂😅
Thank you
"the whole video was flipped in post"
Was the video posted and then flipped?
Probably It is the best explanation that I've ever seen about data science. Thank you
It's not an exaggeration! This video explain Data Science in eight minutes what many of the books and introductory hours long courses fail to explain.
I agree, this was easily understandable.
Its hurting my brain thinking about how they filmed this for the words to be in front of him but also readable from our perspective
See ibm.biz/write-backwards

They just flip it after the filming is done.
Mirror effect think so

Dear God, this might be the best video on TH-cam ever. So precise, so understandable. I am speachless
my bro was the entire video writing in mirror? damn. Thank you, a lot. A really well done explanation
We use a lightboard and reverse the image in post-production.
It is a great video, which connects all the dots in the entire process of "Data" & "Business Outcome".
Thank you so much. An excellent high level video for executives to understand what's happening in their organization.
This is the best explanation I have heard about this topic ....wow...

There are some programming languages that help in data visualisation, like R and python
Hi Mustafa from Turkey. 🇹🇷 You should use Tablaeu, R, Python most of the times. Also Excel very frequently. InshaAllah you succeed.
