Looks awesome. Looking forward to seeing part 2. Especially like that you show which burrs your using.

Ok now this is getting spooky, the wife was asking me to do that for our 2yo daughter and boom, there it is on your channel. You have given me some good tips for when I do mine. Thanks 👍 I can't wait to watch the 2nd part.

I need to put fairy house details onto a woodworking project that I'm planning and I had the idea to look and see if it was possible to carve them with a dremel. Came across your video and it is more useful and helpful (and skillful) than I dared dream of - given me tonnes of ideas (some possibly above my skill level!) and I'm looking forward to having a play on some scrap wood later. Thank you for this!

That Purple Heart is hard stuff eats blades I can’t imaging what it does to burrs. I would love to has some small pieces of some of these woods. I’m fascinated about this being used for a wagon wheel. I’m thinking that old flame burr had flames out. This is so much fun. Do you finish this hard wood if you put it outside?

Cheers Linda for watching Im not an expert on finishes for outdoors. I tend to go for oils and re apply occasionally. If you use varnish I hear the spar varnishes are good used a lot on boats (Spar is a Marine term something to do with the mast). 👍

@@lechatbotte. I like the natural look of wood so I oil and enjoy the wood aging.

Wow looks great!! I’m completely new to carving, I just ordered a Dremel 4300 and a few bits to get started. Do you have any recommendations on a scroll saw, preferably under 3-400$? Cheers

Awesome. Fun times ahead 😀. Sorry can't really say which would be a good scroll saw in your country. The one I own is an Excalibur rebranded for new zealand, it is an expensive one though. Cheers for watching
