Damn, when you have two masters of the game battle with each other, the result is a match that is extremely epic and amazing. The level of their competitive play is insanely high and the thing that surprised me the most was Coach Steve's GODLIKE knowledge of the hitboxes, striking when it doesn't even seem to hit.
Most of you FGC folk probably have no clue what IFC Yipes is referencing half the time, but like myself, he's a huge battle rap fan. I spit my water out when he said:
"THATS LIGHT".
I gotta meet that guy one day.
i only met him once and i was not disappointed.

Yo man, these boys absorbed that energy from Evo so good. Their gameplay is now at this point FULLY OPTIMIZED!! Great set between these two and their rivalry will not be over yet.

Excellent matches! Excellent!!! Ray and Steve made this set a classic for the books. My boy Yipes on the mic to make it right. Oh and I caught his Tay Roc "That's light!" reference. He's a battle rapper from DC. Didn't know Yipes watched. Anyway, great matches indeed!
I was actually thinking Yipes did a Lux introduction when he said, "RayRay is you ready? Steve is you ready?" Haha Good to see some battle rap fans around here!

Nah, banning characters seems stupid, especially in a game as open-ended as UMVC3. Personally, it doesn't matter what character is on screen as long as the player knows how to use them, it's what seperates RayRays Magneto from everyone else's, just as an example. Just because a character is really good and common, doesn't mean ALL players with said character on their team are boring to watch. After all there are like 117,600 possible teams in this game, without even counting assists. If Vegil is on their team, i won't consider it boring if they don't suck. Any player that sort of sucks with their characters isn't hype. I guess for me, the entertainment come from player skill instead of characters; which makes it even more entertaining when a GOOD player uses an uncommon character.
You should ban the shell not the characters
