A bit farther over and it’s all liver but probably loses power , to the right and it’s more abs with muscle to protect the diaphragm, as they say he found the off switch! Just a perfect shot ! Looks like he clips the last rib and just digs that shot in . I feel for the guy on the ground, all that training then he gets caught by one perfect combo and his night is over and he s in excruciating pain .

      The goal is to land a hit while the person's abs aren't tense so that they give and you can reach those organs.
      Now some people have better physiology, thicker abs etc so it's harder to get that penetrating hit to do damage, but if you hit a kidney or liver it doesn't matter how tough you are, those organs just aren't designed for contact like that.

In muay thai its actually suppose to be only 3 seconds. The Wai Kru/Ram Muay is hundreds of years old and has significant cultural and fighting history.
      Wai=Respect
      Kru=teacher
      The Wai Kru is the 1st half and is a respect to teacher dance.
      The Ring is encircled to seal off the fight area and remove any debris. They kneel and each movement is done in 3s to pay respect to Your teacher, your family, your God. There is a basic or standard Wai Kru or you can do the Wai Kru of your school.
      Ram: Dance
      Muay: Fight
      The 2nd part when they rise is the Ram Muay or Fight dance. Again all parts are done in 3s to pay respect (teacher, family, ancestors all the people who got you there) and they walk the 4 cardinal directions. There are some basic Ram Muays but this is usually a signature dance for the fighter. This part is to show the fighters strength, balance, and posture. And the 1st chance to intimidate your opponent by staring them down or shooting arrows at them. The betting usually ramps up when they can see the fighters move around in their space.
      The teacher then prays over them (blesses) in the corner. Removes the mongkong to hang in a high position on the ring or they'll hold it. Then the fight begins.
      Hope that clears that up 🙏 please don't call it silly.

    i love how that really was a one punch knockout because if you look really closely, it seems like the first shot in the combo missed/barely grazed him, then the left went right to the body, and then the third and final shot missed. the knee tapping the head on the way down def didn’t do it either. it’s crazy how literally one shot landing can make or break a fight. yeesh

    neat technique, pretty simple yet hard to do perfectly, no shame other guy,
    now you gotta learn the same technique and do it back to him right? 🙂

      Precisely, they more or less disregard the ref's call because fuck him. It was 2 wild beasts waiting to kill in the first strike. I'm fairly certain you're correct about the breathing advantage. That one shot was so well timed and placed it could not have been better.
