HimaSmash he actually is in 2nd place. This movie only lost to warzone. This one and dolph Lundgren even beat the tv show in kill counts and have more deaths than mins of film
This film begins with Frank (Lundgren) as a respected police officer dedicated to eradicating the Mafia's influence -- that is until the mob responds with a lethal car bomb that decimates his family. Now, filled with rage and presumed dead from the horrific explosion, he takes to the city's underground sewer tunnels to bring his own brutal brand of vigilante justice to the streets and wreak vengeance on those who killed his family.
To me this is the best Punisher movie and for the 80's it was very violent . The Punisher from 2004 starring Thomas Jane and John Travolta was silly . The Punisher Warzone was meh bleh took it way to far imo .
@@majorfanboy2005 Yes because it was all except realistic . A joke action movie of course hypsers only saw the skull t-shirt but story mise à big zero. The biggest error was the whole family from Frank was too much whereas the comics only histoire wife and children were killed. The Thomas Jane version it looked that Frank was in a rich mafia family kinda looked as The Godfather.
@@majorfanboy2005 To each their own . But Dolph Lundgren version was more closer except the moaning kids wanting to see the skull which was clearly shown by the knife or such. Warzone is all except great took it way too far was too much Tim Burton's Batman 3&4 movie all together with that Dick Tracy movie . It was all except new.
+Johnny P that's the opinion of those of us who read the right comics of The Punisher, my Aunt would like the Thomas Jane Punisher, or my grandma on account that they don't even know how the character really is, brutal, unforgiving, merciless, doesn't tolerate any bullshit, doesn't shoot to wound, he shoots to kill, and if he's out of guns or knives, he'll use his bare hands, Bernthal, is misunderstood by those who claim Jane is the #1 Punisher.
thi nga pha this is a real a punisher movie. his name is frank castle in this film too if you look at the opening credits it says based on the marvel comic book.
I already know that but this is just another Dolph kicking ass movie with the tiles The Punisher slap on it when it has nothing resemble the original comic
This will always be cinema's first true marvel movie.
Nothing to deny about.
I'm sure it was howard the duck 1986

OMG! The Punisher (1989) More Killed Than The Punisher (2004)

Still the best Punisher film!
Dolph Lundgren has 51 kills (number error at 1:05)

Great job, Could you do Showdown in Little Tokyo
Punisher 1989 I like that movie
he has no skull on his shirt
The skull is a metaphor
@@CarnageCounts But this is The Punisher. The skull is like his logo like the S on Superman's chest or the 4 on The Fantastic 4.
4.that knife had the skull logo
This is the r-rated version right?
can you do how many kills pirates of the Caribbean at world's end
Actually you forgot 2 deaths
Nice job. Could you do The Rundown/Welcome To The Jungle?
Actually its more, he kills a bunch in the directors cut
I feel as a stand alone action movie, it's good, but as a punisher adaptation, only War Zone and the series are good
