The cymbals sound great and really fit this type of music. By the way, "Paiste" means "sunshine" in estonian and finnish. The guy that founded the company was Toomas Paiste. Some trivia for those who didn't know :)

    Boh man this is drumming!!!!
Why? It is grooving from the beginning till the end! This video just show us how good Jeff really was! even a slow drumbeat like this has a very nice groove, played by the one and only groovemaster Jeff Porcaro I miss the man a lot his music will be played forever💙
It just show us drummers that you don’t have to play quike to
sound good. And Jeff was all about groove, you hear it in all his music.wich makes him the best drummer of all times.
It is a shame that he died so young. But still his music makes me happy.

Hi, this is an exclusive recording for a Paiste cymbals demo where Jeff and David played. This track is also a part of a James Newton Howard´record called like himself and recorded in studio live. This is also played by drummer Gavin Harrison in a modern drummer festival, must see,,, also incredible.
Jeff´s sound, tempo and feels are simply unique, God bless him.

This was released in Modern Drummer as a vinyl 45-RPM tear-out. Periodically these were placed in the magazine for readers as product demos or as lessons in the "Sound Supplement" series. It included recordings/lessons from Peart, Erskine, Morgentein, Weckl. Paiste offered product demos from Bruford, C. Thompson, and Porcaro.
Jeff's Paiste set-up in this recording is:
    2002 19"Medium
    602 16" Paperthin
    602 Medium Ride
    2002 20" Heavy Crash
Rude 14" HH's w/sizzles on the bottom cymbal
