Those happy little sticks made a good fire. The stove seems pretty sturdy, gets the job done.
A beer opener and a large empty soup can. We would make can type stoves in Boy Scouts for back packing. I made a little bag for it out of an old pair of jeans. And stored dry kindling inside of the stove.
I've had mine with all over 300 burns. Love it! You really don't need this cross bars unless you're using very small pot. Wood goes in much easier without it.
I also use popsicle sticks. I rub some vaseline on em for extra flamable kindling. Theyre great!

We actually use “alternate gear” for everyday use at home.
My husband says I am not the normal woman as I am always on the hunt for alternatives for every day life.
