When I hit my wedges full, they do not come close to hitting the top of the screen, where I hit from is 7.5 foot away from the screen. And my screen is 9 foot tall. The only way the ceiling has been hit when someone has skied a driver. That is why I put a cushion pad on the ceiling in the middle of the screen. Honestly, the only thing I would have done different, if I could have. I would’ve made it 24 x 16 to have a little more space for seating because I’m a lefty and my friends are righties. It makes a little bit more difficult but if I had 24 ft I’d have a lot more space. Also, if I had the money, I would have preferred a ceiling mounted launch monitor. That way I wouldn’t have to move it back-and-forth but for me those were just way too expensive.
Sweet room man but it looks tight from where you hit to the back wall. Is that the case or is it just the camera angle. Regardless, it’s way nicer than my garage. Sweet swing too even tho lefties are not to be trusted 😂
Thanks, bud! I have about 3 feet of clearance from the tip of my driver to the wall on my backswing. It doesn’t feel tight at all and you’re right about lefties, haha!

Thanks! Not very much experience, just little stuff around the house. I just researched a ton and watched a lot of TH-cam videos! Total cost was at the end of video but was around 16k
How much did the shed cost to build before finishing the I side? I’m looking at an 18x22 shed, hoping that will give more room for seating and having a bar area. Do you find 16’ deep is plenty of depth? Wondering if I should go shallower and longer than 18x22
Cost of the just building without anything done to the inside around 6k. The concrete slab was 2500. I would recommend 16 or 18 deep by at least 24 wide. But I would place the impact screen on the 16/18 side. It would give more room for seating and bar behind hitting area. Something to think about if you have 24 feet of space you lose 1 foot behind the hitting screen then you need at least 7 to 8 foot from where you hit the ball to the screen. Then you need 4 foot behind the hitter so right there is 12 to 14 feet of space minimum. Then from there just depends on how much room would feel comfortable behind the hitter.
@@thunder.pumpgolf_andfitness what state are you located in? My next obstacle is dealing with the HOA and city. Also, do you have any issues with noise from the neighbors? Mine will be spray foam insulation so hoping that prevents too much noise.
@@cgwashb I’m in Missouri. I don’t have an HOA, so that made it easier. It is very quiet on the outside of the building. You can really only hear the driver but once you’re 20-30ft away it’s hard to hear at all. I’ve never had an issues or compliants with the neighbors.
Thanks for sharing this. Excellent work as I’m researching to build something similar. Are you subscribed to Basic (Bushnell) with GSPro? Also, where did you find the shed plans with cut list, etc?

@@thunder.pumpgolf_andfitness what state are you located in? My next obstacle is dealing with the HOA and city. Also, do you have any issues with noise from the neighbors? Mine will be spray foam insulation so hoping that prevents too much noise.
@@cgwashb I’m in Missouri. I don’t have an HOA, so that made it easier. It is very quiet on the outside of the building. You can really only hear the driver but once you’re 20-30ft away it’s hard to hear at all. I’ve never had an issues or compliants with the neighbors.
@@thunder.pumpgolf_andfitness do you think you go 16x24 instead of 18x22?
@@cgwashb personally 16x24, more room for actual seating/bar
Thanks for sharing this. Excellent work as I’m researching to build something similar. Are you subscribed to Basic (Bushnell) with GSPro? Also, where did you find the shed plans with cut list, etc?
Thanks you very much!! I have gold with the gspro subscription. I came up with the plans myself.
@@thunder.pumpgolf_andfitness Would you be willing to share or sell your plans?
Bad ass
Oh yeah! Thanks!
Good video 👌. What software do you use for golf swing recording?
It’s a lvpro2 camera, works with LVstudio app
Also thanks!!
@@thunder.pumpgolf_andfitness thx for that! // Patrik from Sweden
Where do I submit application for friendship?
Haha
Hi mate how much did it all cost and where from?
For the golf stuff not the shed
I did a cost breakdown at the end of the video. The shed part and simulator part cost separately. I’m going to do some separate videos of more of a breakdown and separate costs of everything.
amazing job and a awesome setup for under $16,000. I’ll give you $16;500 to do mine🤣
Haha, terrible deal!
Cost of the shed build?
The cost is at the very end, it’s around 16
Nice!
Thanks!
have you heard of Carls Place ? they have the easiest custom setups available
Yes, I have heard of them. I wanted a more custom/built in look for my space
Do you have a concrete foundation? If so, how much did that cost?
I do have concrete foundation, that cost 2600
Did you video the building of your sim shed? Would you share a parts list/schematic of what you did?
I didn’t video it, but I took a lot of pictures. I plan to do a video explaining what I did using the pictures.
@@thunder.pumpgolf_andfitness , what stand did yo use for the LVPRO2 and the Fire Tablet?
Do you live in a climate where it needs to be heated in the winter? If so how do you heat it?
Yeah I’m in Missouri. I have a mini split installed, which does a/c and doubles as a heat pump in the winter
How much would a gaming PC cost that I can use with the Bushnell launch pro? Thanks
You can get a solid pc sub 1000. Just make sure is has a GeForce rtx3060 minimum
Thanks!
have you ever taken the launch pro to the driving range? does it have to be connected to wifi just to use it out there and get numbers on the built in screen?@@thunder.pumpgolf_andfitness
where you based out of?
Close to Kansas City, mo
@@thunder.pumpgolf_andfitnessill fly in if you use that as an air bnb for some golf content. I need to golf that state.
What size is this?
20 ft wide x 16 ft deep
Dang you got me hyped NOW!!! you had a Joe Biden moment at the end huh? 🤣Well done though
Haha, I guess I did! That’s pretty funny.
This is really incredible and you’ve saved tons of money doing this all yourself! My simulator is in my garage and I’ve added things bit by bit. I have an R10 currently as I’m newer to golf and didn’t wanna spend more money if I wasn’t going to like it. Well I’m hooked and will be getting the Skytrak+ once GS Pro can fully work with it. Then I’ll get a gaming pc or laptop. I really like what you’ve done with the cushions and saving money that way! You’re a genius sir, well done! You’ve given me even more ideas on saving money on hitting mat because I was just going to fork up the 2 grand on that fiberbuilt mat you spoke of. Seeing as I could make one myself with just the fiberbuilt strip, I’ll do just that so thank you for that. Sorry for the long winded message. Godspeed to you sir in your golf career. A well earned subscription from me🏌🏽
Yes!!!☝🏼this comment right here!!! This is what I was hoping for, so happy you got some ideas from this video. Once you get that skytrak+ and gspro, look into the sgt(simulator golf tour). You can play in tournaments against fellow golfers all year long. I’ll post another video and actually show all the layers of the hitting/stance mat. And how I went about building it. Good luck with the simulator upgrade and thanks for the sub!
@@thunder.pumpgolf_andfitness roger that sir. My neighbor two doors down has the first Skytrak and plays SGT on GS Pro. That’s what got me into golf and sim golf. Im not very good at golf by any means I just enjoy the challenge of it all. I think I’ll just keep adding onto my sim in my garage before I build a golf sim in my backyard like you have done. Seeing it can be done for under 16K really peeks my interest. I can’t wait to watch more of your videos. I’ve played Payne’s Valley on GS Pro at my neighbors house. Very nice course. Also played Michael Jordan’s course. I laughed because they have the drones flying all over how they do in real life. Check that course out if you haven’t already, it’s a trip🤣
@@Blackcloud319 golf is by far the hardest sport I’ve played, maybe not as much physically but mentally. Keep grinding away and slowly get better. Also, I’m downloading Jordan’s course now and will check it out!
@@thunder.pumpgolf_andfitness yes sir! I love the mental challenge. I compare golf to chess. It’s easy to learn, but it takes a lifetime to master. I started to write Bruce Lee quotes on my golf balls recently just to keep my mind at ease while on the courses. “Don’t think, feel.” Is just one of the quotes I put on my balls(AYO)😏
Enjoy Slaughter House 23 as Rickie Fowler put it🤣
