Obviously, you do NOT know what Grier does. Grier ONLY gives the HC what they want. He has done this for McDaniel and Flo. Why do you blame Grier for on field poor play?
@brianwilliams6226 An owner/ GM's job isn't to give the coach what he wants. It's to work with the coach to get what's best for the team. If the coach is making all the decisions, then why bother having a owner/GM at all? Coach doesn't negotiate the deals that hurt the cap. Coach can chime in on draft picks, but he doesn't make the final call (usually)

If we didnt do those trades we could have resigned ginkel, wilkins, and hunt plus had 5 other quality players from those lost picks.

IMO, Griers biggest failure is his complete mismanagement of salaries. Part of the reason that we gave Tua his bag and possibly Tyreek and Waddle their money this off-season was to free up some cap space this year. Of course, this kick the can down the road style is recklessly irresponsible and will have long term consequences for the team. I disagree with you about Julian Hill. He always gets the toughest assignments in the blocking scheme while Smythe gets crackback blocks and picking on secondary players. Hill had a great rep on the early long Achane run where he took out two defenders. Ingold is another one that misses a lot of blocks.
and we have Ross and co with the FULL confidence from Ross... so we are good. Next year is our year... :( I'd be fine with the loss of Grier was done... but he's back... mt Teflon.
Curtis i've said on your last segment that the matt millen effect is real in the dolphins organization grier and mcdaniel will both be back i will tell you this again when ross fire grier it will be to late.
I tried... I REALLY wanted to believe in Ross one last time... He's been my target for a while... but I was hoping... first time in years... but it was a hard fail.... he's terrible.
I feel like if this was a win and in scenario things would have been different. But that’s how the cookie crumbles, now where does Miami go from here? Frankly I have no clue.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again as long as Ross, Grier, McD, and Tua with his albatross of a contract and always being injured along with other big contracts given to underperforming players this franchise is doomed! At least we could always hang are heads high and say we’re not the Jets but we got throttled by them in the cold and were lucky to beat them in our house. Dolphins made 100 year old Rodgers look like an mvp in both games.
The biggest problem is Ross because he does not care to win , he cares that he bought the team in 2009 for 1.1 billion and now the team is worth 6.75 billion while winning nothing. So in my humble opinion Ross does not care to win game he is winning all the way to the bank. We need a lot of changes.
Hill took himself out of the game without an explanation and said after the game he wasn't sure of coming back. He's gone. Think someone said he'll cost $27 M post June, which, if you consider the Broncos made the playoffs while paying Wilson 90 M, it's not bad. My biggest concern is the rumor that Grier will still be in the building in an advisory role and they'll just promote from within. I want him gone and out of the building. I also worry Weaver might be gone as DC for a HC gig; but on the other hand Robert Saleh is available. So the biggest thing is getting a real GM in.
@@AcePerHead So now we know Ross is the problem. Sad we'll have to continue to watch incompetence wearing aqua and orange. I will still cheer for the team but the Dolphins do not deserve my emotional commitment until Ross sells the team.

we are lost as a franchise... and watch some in the content biz support it... least you know who they are and who the Dolphins leadership is from soup to nuts.
This franchise is a joke. A 'budy' coach that has no clue on how to discipline, has a horrendous record against winning teams, no sense on throwing the challenge-flag. A 250 million dollar contract for a qb who also has a horrendous record against winning teams, will not take extra precautions to be able to be healthy to play late in the season, no Division Title, one play-off appearance loss and his contract is the WORST CONTRACT ever handed out by an owner. The fins are a the side show to everything else going on at Joe Robbie Stadium. I hope nobody shows up next year to any games just like the covid year.
Play calling was terrible in this game...McDaniel is over his head! Both these incompetent idiots idiots Grier and McDaniel need to go along with Mr Glass (Tua)... time for change!!!
I think the play design is subpar and/or we have obvious tells because defenders are constantly in spots to blow up the play and no one in a favorable position to block the defender before he gets there.
I dont think Grier has been bad in talent eval. Where he fails in team construction and managing salaries. He didnt see the league wide shift away from outside speed to run game and short passing. Now we have the highest paid receivers in the league with bottom ten productivity. The team was built to beat up on bad teams and weaken in December and January. You cant win thinking that the QB will always get the ball out in under 2.5 seconds. It just does not work like that, especially against better teams and in the playoffs. Marinos best season ever and only SB appearance was his second year in the leagur. He never had another season approaching what he did in 1984 because teams adjusted to the offense while no counter adjustment was made by the coaching staff/front office.
Not aiming for the target and acquiring real impact players as Grier does is what creates a mediocre roster. Hill was a hood ornament and now he's out. Now Grier did not evaluate Sklar Thompson, or the OL in the offseason the coaches should have, but his tendancy is to throw lots of darts everywhere. This yearJonu and Calias came through nicely but where will they be next year and what will be the identity of this team.
Ross has to do something. Grier has to go and possibly the coach. We need a different build of this team. Tua has to stay healthy for us to have a chance in this offense.
WE our the emperor with no clothes....I realize I'm a fan of the past not the present. Maybe Ross knows something we don't, but don't see anything to support with Grier as GM. And what's with Tua wearing sunglasses on the sideline? Maybe he should have been snorting whatever Rodgers was sniffing.
Before the season stated, I stated this was a 9 win team. They lost a lot more talent than they replaced and the scheme was exposed. Clearly I was wrong... shame that statue quo rules the day. No one should really be surprised with the results. Even with this easy schedule
@@AcePerHead Tyreek will only approve a trade to a playoff caliber team. The market for Tyreek Hil is basically the Steelers. Tomlin is not afriad to take on head cases and they could use receiving help. Too much baggage for other teams to show interest.
The team didn’t quit, but Tyreek Hill did. So mad at him. Dude played through a lot I get it but has one down season and now he’s gonna cry and want out?
You're right and yet wrong Curtis. Ross technically can fix this, but realistically he's incapable. He is the root source of Miam's issues for over a decade. The franchise is rotten. Ross is an absentee owner who doesn't get football. The organisation descends into chaos and conflict every time. Until he sells, things won't change. I would love to believe that you can teach an old dog new tricks, but in this case, I don't think it's possible. We've seen who Ross is. The only thing we'll take away from his ownership is the stadium and facilities.
Congratulations to the Miami Softphins on their 8-9 record. I checked out the season before when they lost to the Titans in that embarrassing night game. The team is TRASH, and Chris Greer is driving the garbage truck.
THE ARCHITECTURE OF THIS TEAM IS WRONG. It's obvious to me that Ross told Grier to build a team around Tua because he thought he was the 2nd coming of Dan Marino. In doing so, they used the Bellichick / Brady model of quick passes and an offensive line that only has to hold a block for 2 seconds so Tua didn't get hit/hurt. McDaniel, who has ZERO experience as a HC, and wanted the job, bought into it because he had too. Most likely all of the other coaching candidates knew Tua wasn't the answer and wanted to move on from him - not what they wanted. When Tua went down (which is all the time) the offensive line became insufficient because they had to hold their blocks longer and both the passing and the run game collapsed. This organization is a delusional mess and they need to clean house so the next people, from another team can come in and change it.
If Ross promotes Grier and they hire a GM from within it will be a joke and he would be a yes man for Grier who will still call the shots... this crap is a joke!!! I've been a fan since 1970 and bleed aqua and orange but something has to change!
Broncos win so todays game ended up not mattering. But it was better the Phins loss to hopefully bring major changes to the organization specifically dumping the GM. The OL has looked like a JV team playing among the Varsity. So pathetic they call themselves pros.
Mediocracy in full effect. Ross high IQ land developer ....low IQ football operations. McDaniel's is a game scheming / adjustment disaster. GM Grier is a snake charmer. Bottom line they have officially taken the fight and fun factor out of being a Dolphin fan. 2025 low expectations.
This is what we’re told when Tua wins. He beats trash teams and we’re told he’s a franchise QB. He ALWAYS fail and is exposed against good defenses. Then comes all the excuses. “The Oline, the play calling, the run game, the defense, and everything else”. Don’t get me wrong. I agree that the philosophy of this team is trash but Tua goes along with the trash. He’s not good enough and the trash GM drafted him and hired this trash HC.
Tua or no Tua, our owner doesn't care, our GM is teflon and an idiot, so replace the QB and the results will be the same or marginally better or worse.
Really? I am NO Tua supporter... I actually made a PC saying you can't win with his health.. but teams win... not QBs... check what I've actually said rather than what you create and attribute to me for a convenient comment.

I disagree with you about Julian Hill. He always gets the toughest assignments in the blocking scheme while Smythe gets crackback blocks and picking on secondary players. Hill had a great rep on the early long Achane run where he took out two defenders. Ingold is another one that misses a lot of blocks.
for me, it's the consistency... too many bad ones. But that's just my eval, brother. Ingold is inconsistent to.... just not as much as Hill.
Grier will never be gone. 😫
EVER!!!! Sad.... we are a joke.
I'm not unhappy with the loss. We were out of the playoffs. Our draft slot got better.
and we have Ross and co with the FULL confidence from Ross... so we are good. Next year is our year... :( I'd be fine with the loss of Grier was done... but he's back... mt Teflon.
If the top 2 tackles are gone should the Dolphins chose Jaylon Walker LB Georgia or Malaki Starks S Georgia?
I need to go over the draft.... TE is a big one for me.... need to start hunting the draft now, brother.
Curtis i've said on your last segment that the matt millen effect is real in the dolphins organization grier and mcdaniel will both be back i will tell you this again when ross fire grier it will be to late.
Hope is a lie sold to suckers.
I tried... I REALLY wanted to believe in Ross one last time... He's been my target for a while... but I was hoping... first time in years... but it was a hard fail.... he's terrible.
Ugh terrible news. Ross just put out a statement that Grier and McD will be back. Sounds like there will be some staff changes tho
REALLLY!!!! Holy CRAP!!!
I feel like if this was a win and in scenario things would have been different. But that’s how the cookie crumbles, now where does Miami go from here? Frankly I have no clue.
Running it all back with FULL confidence from Ross... joy.
Any truth to Tyreek Hill asking for a trade after the game?
Dont know... but sure he is.... do it!!!!
He essentially did ask out
He said he has to evaluate what's best for himself and his family. Basically... he said it without saying it
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again as long as Ross, Grier, McD, and Tua with his albatross of a contract and always being injured along with other big contracts given to underperforming players this franchise is doomed!
Well, Ross said all will be back next year... with his full confidence.... what a joke. So, I agree.
Well, Ross said all will be back next year... with his full confidence.... what a joke.
@@AcePerHead So now we know Ross is the problem. Sad we'll have to continue to watch incompetence wearing aqua and orange. I will still cheer for the team but the Dolphins do not deserve my emotional commitment until Ross sells the team.
@@gelandres And it will be a long time until he does... terrible. All the more reason to start covering more teams... always love my Dolphin and give them full coverage.... but this is the last straw. so sad.
@@AcePerHead It will be fun, though, to hear you comment on other teams. It will at least be a relief from the Dolphins drama.
Ross just announced that Greir and McDaniel are back. This is crazy! The fans have to take it into their own hands and not buy tickets. Ross is a corporatist. He only responds if you affect his pocketbook...I'm disgusted.
we are lost as a franchise... and watch some in the content biz support it... least you know who they are and who the Dolphins leadership is from soup to nuts.
Cheers to 9-8 next season with a first round exit 🍻 so sick of it
if that much... sadly. I'm sick of it too.
Ross, idiotically, announced tonight that Grier is coming back. It's time to boycott the Dolphins. Maybe Ross realizes were freaking DONE!
Yup!!! We are doomed.
He uses Schems for mismatches... but struggles beyond that.
@@dondajulah4168 Scheme based.... simplistic because McD isn't ready to handle the higher levels.
@AcePerHead 1st and goal from the 2 and he runs for loss, then throws 2 screens and kicks a FG...ridiculous!
@@larrythompson4422 We are 1 dimensional and soft... speed loses a lot in the RZ when you don't have mucle.
Well I guess we're screwed! 😢
YUP!! I actually let a little blind faith/ hope/ grasping at straw to filter through... big mistake.
Well, Ross said all will be back next year... with his full confidence.... what a joke. sad day, John... we are a joke franchise... sadly.
Ross has to do something. Grier has to go and possibly the coach. We need a different build of this team. Tua has to stay healthy for us to have a chance in this offense.
We need real leadership and it starts wit Ross doing what's uncomfortable....
Grier is being kicked upstairs and they will promote from within to replace him. Nothing will change.
That's my fear too.... praying it's not.
I said 9-11 depending on variables... didn't think this much would happen. Crazy... Also the NFL cracked down on cheat motion... that hurt too.
We would have to give a team draft picks to take Tyreek off our hands.
Think we can get something if we eat some money.
@@AcePerHead Tyreek will only approve a trade to a playoff caliber team. The market for Tyreek Hil is basically the Steelers. Tomlin is not afriad to take on head cases and they could use receiving help. Too much baggage for other teams to show interest.
@@dondajulah4168 AND Ross said all will be back next year... with his full confidence.... what a joke.
The team didn’t quit, but Tyreek Hill did. So mad at him. Dude played through a lot I get it but has one down season and now he’s gonna cry and want out?
Can't quit... cardinal rule...
This Video hurt love you bro stupid Dolphins management 💔🐬
feel the same.. sadly, we are doomed.
Ross does not care about winning Curtis. The Dolphins are a real estate long con for him. Wonderful facility owner, terrible football owner.
Nope... he's a charlatan owner... suit hustler ready for another pump and dump.
Not locking in Dan Campbell was lame. Season 6 Night Court lame.

Congratulations to the Miami Softphins on their 8-9 record. I checked out the season before when they lost to the Titans in that embarrassing night game. The team is TRASH, and Chris Greer is driving the garbage truck.
Starts at the top and works its way down... sadly.
Ross has said Grier and Co back with his full confidence. What a joke.
Broncos win so todays game ended up not mattering. But it was better the Phins loss to hopefully bring major changes to the organization specifically dumping the GM. The OL has looked like a JV team playing among the Varsity. So pathetic they call themselves pros.
it was a disaster of a day.
Dumb wealthy people causing problems for us everywhere. Sad state of affairs.
yup... a shame he could be smarter and we could all have a blast.
Im not unhappy.... I'm disappointed. Steven Ross is the problem.
He is... 100% I'm both... but life goes on.
Ross has been a failure since ‘08 there’s absolutely nothing that can convince me we won’t continue to be a failure until he’s gone
Agree after his announcement today I agree 1000%
Unfortunately this video aged like milk.
Unfortunately... I foolishly went with hope. Next one won't be kind.
I noticed how you left TUA out of your rant. But then again, in your mind, TUA does no wrong.
Really? I am NO Tua supporter... I actually made a PC saying you can't win with his health.. but teams win... not QBs... check what I've actually said rather than what you create and attribute to me for a convenient comment.
You worried about the O Line now Grier? What a dismissive and obtuse view of fans' concerns of the team.
