I’m glad you do this . Very informative . Probably the best. Sure the other guys talk and all but this is the bread and butter of it all and most cannot understand this.
However , I’ve been saying it’s time for power O/Line to break this leverage : and people don’t understand just how great Hill really is . But if we can’t run we will always struggle because we don’t have the power to protect our speed.
Hill is staying . Even so , we need to protect Tua a little longer so we can break coverage . See; defenses will never adjust until we power inside run zone. Tua can hit Jonnu all day and Achane and defenses don’t care. They will continue on high outside leverage until we get these Guards in place .
I hope this season was the lesson.
If I were them I would go out and spend what I could on the power O:Line . You gotta take the pressure off .
And I don’t think fans know how great we really are : it’s a matter of offensive line . That’s it . Look at Hill’s numbers this year . Even as low for him it’s still better than more than half the WR’s in the league . Tua was in our offense began moving long drives . But when we couldn’t get the power we couldn’t drive .
Simple . Not complicated at all .

Thanks, brother a ton... I'd say we could have had a great offense with Hunt ad Connor with 1-2 more OLs... if we only had drafted Zach Tom... Now though, I think it will be much tougher... can they? Sure... but it will take a master class of an offseason. I think this offseaosn will strip a ton from us in talent... I'm not as high as you are... but I'm hoping you are right... I'm a bit more dour cause Grier is a dunce. Maybe he's finally learned... I don't know, brother... I'm hoping... Since the NFL outlawed the motion advantage, Hill has struggled. Not to mention the dropped passes and his lack of leadership. After what came out with McDaniel being soft allowing players to be late for meetings, not being accountable and poor leadership, no wonder Fangio wanted out because he is old school...how the hell McDaniel or Grier kept their job is ridiculous.

I don't know the exact situation with Hill but I would not trade him unless we get a bounty for him. For some reason I think he'll still be here next year. As for fixing our offense, I'd use all our resources on the O line. ( I say that every year and I'll stop when I'm wrong). We need starters and depth on the O line. However, I would take best player available at #13 unless we get a good deal on picks in a trade. This team has some good players and I think the defense can get by if the offense can control the clock. Use deeper picks and free agents to find O line players. They don't have to be great, just good and we need depth in case of the inevitable injuries. Tua is good and can win but geez give him some halfway decent blocking please. Tua is here for two years so we'll also have McD for another two years. We have good running backs who can break big runs if they can find a crease. We're really not that far off. Fix the O line and you'll see immediate improvement.

First of all , I will follow you wherever you go. I enjoy and agree with most of your takes on football. As far as Hill and Ramsey, let them go Hill dropped a lot of passes this season and Ramsey definitely lost a step in coverage. If they don’t want to be in Miami please trade them , if they stay the drama will be unbearable. Hill also lost a step in separation. I watched the Grier and McDaniel press conference, what a joke, players late for meetings, excuses, excuses. Insanity doing it over and expecting different results.

We were 10-6 in Flores last year with a bad offense, no Tyreek and a rookie Tua who didn't know the playbook. We can survive without Tyreek, if Grier somehow has an all time draft and signs a few good players to fill the holes. I don't think it's going to happen, but Flores made lemonade out of lemons even with the coordinator issues.

You can, but it's not always smooth. Not a bad idead and then move him back to T when you boot Jackson... BUT... we need interior OL and TEs ... good ones are VERY tough to find. tackles are too but I'm just starting to look at them... not sure going T at 13 and moving him inside is the best... could be... We need a REAL TE... Jonnu is great as te F and occasional Y, but we need an inline who's a duel threat without Hill ... in genreral but esp without him.

I agree it is no guarantee. I think Banks is a must draft if he falls. Otherwise Starks could be in play. Is there a TE you'd target? I like Gunner Helm. I also like both of the wrs from TCU later. Big bodied guys who could play inside/outside and let Washingon take the slot.

    • @Ballaholic17

We need to draft BPA. No more reaching for players to fill immediate needs. That's why we're in this position to begin with. It might look like we're good at a certain position, but with all the injuries this team has, it could end up being a position of need sooner than expected.

I think Hill wants to win but he’s not very good at articulating it. If he was all about his stats, he would have stayed in the second half and collected his 1000 yards and called it a day. It's a milestone for a receiver to get 1000 yards. He had an opportunity to collect it and as soon as he found out the team wasn't going to make the playoffs, he quit. It's still wrong what he did though. The culture of this team is terrible. It starts with the owner, the GM and the HC. They are not serious about winning. He’s the symptom of a bigger problem. Now you have Ramsey complaining too? Step back a little further you have Fangio, Gailey and Flores. Serious teams don't have these issues. Seems like they back tracked on the trade talk though...

Ross claims continuity? Grier does not have former coaching or playing exp and his coaching staff is young. Grier does not listen to experts and makes roster changes based on the whims of young coaches and scheme fits. Grier likes throwing bunches of mediocre players at areas where he needs to hit the bullseye. Saban gave Grier Minka Fitz as a gift for past considerations. Minka was a starter and impact player year one and traded year 2 because of some flim flam reason where he went on to be one of the best safties in the league. Gailey offered Flores (another young coach) a ton of input on the O and roster and he was ignored. Fangio said WEEK 1 and several times after that we had something special in Ginkel. Not Phillips, not Chubb, not Holland, and not even Wilkins. He spotted Van Ginkel. Who made the probowl this year out of those? Grier does not try to keep IMPACT players on the roster. Probowlers make the plays that change the course of the game. Schemes and styles can change every year. Grier is a terrible GM and apparently there will be no checks and balances going forward.

Hills impact is all that is wrong. I don't care what team Tyreek goes to the Nfl has found the formula to completely shut him down. He is very limited because of his size. Corners are drifting Hill out his route and to the sidelines because he is so small. They jam him at the line and shut him down because of his size they double him and set 2 safeties deep also. Tyreek cannot even do a go route because if there is little or no separation you cannot lob the ball to him because the corner is taller. A go route to the end zone against the jets is a great example. He cannot do 50/50 ball, cannot do fades, he cannot one hand a ball because of his hand size and height. All he has is speed and they figured that one out. Waddle is pretty much the same. Why do you think the mark's brothers retired early? Thats because once they slowed down just a little as they aged they were useless because of their size. Name me a team in the NFL that has two short wideouts. TRade Tyreek and invest in a complete receiver and e with a oline we will march thru the playoffs. Tyreek was causing all the locker room problems just like in KC. Hill stays in trouble in his private life and that same trouble does not just stay in private life it filters into the locker room. Hill has no loyalties to his wife nor to all the kids he has fathered while being with her. He feels he does not have to listen to law enforcement either. Why would any team tolerate such a showboat.

    • @AcePerHead
      @AcePerHead  17 วันที่ผ่านมา

I agree on Hill and Waddle... BUT they set serious leverage esp. Hill... without that leverage McDs scheme collapses even more than it did this season... this Ol unless heavily boosted would be more of a black hole than what it is now. But very good takes on the way hill is being played. They need to play slot more.. too small for boundries. Waddle though isn't good at slot... not shifty enough. Both have iffy hands too. Hills is a disturbed person... We are in mighty big trouble Carla.... mighty big, sister.
