amazing thanks, please show us an example of a feed. Also what if we have more than 1 camera can we display two or more? and how do we know which camera to buy and whether their url outputs are listed? where do they list the output on the camera specs
You could technically show 2 cameras if you had a NVR (Network Video Recorder) that had a feed output. The list I showed you is currently the easiest and best cameras to use. I will put the link in the comments as I forgot to. Typically most camera manufacturers will say if they do RTSP or HTTP or motion jpeg.
Typing down RTSP:// in MPEG-4 (H264) doesn't work. it has to start with HTTP://. additionally, you'll have to add your ISP IP not your internal IP. also, you need to add the port and forward it from your modem. it's a pretty complicated process and it didn't work for me for some reason! i use Wyze Pan cam
Yes, I am not going into networking with people. This should just be used as a basic tutorial. RTSP used to work so maybe they stopped it. I agree it is pretty complex!
Honestly, you really need to document this better with some real examples. On the forum, most posts are 4 years old, there is no definitive information there at all. About the best you get is that your solution only works with Nest cameras which is not true. I can tell you that HTML5 streaming doesn't work either. So, perhaps you can inform us what do you use to display the video stream? Is this some type of plugin in your Fusion interface? Which one? This way we can research just what should work. I have tried a few cameras that provide HTML5 with OGG and Orbis. None work. I have also tried VLC, which supports many different streaming types, with no success.
@@ReefAndReptileAutomation Ok, sounds good. However, can you provide the information? If you can't give examples, please let us know how you are providing the video so that the community can figure it out. I just bought an Amcrest video cam which some users said worked, but it doesn't. So to save some money, a response would be great
Need helppppppp please!!!! I want to connect a Tapo C100 to my Apex, is it possible?
I don’t know what that is.

Any chance an Arlo camera could be connected? Thanks!
Never used it. If it has a standard URL then yes it probably could be done.

Never heard of that company. I might call Neptune and find out.

Is the AutoAqua Qeye Camera compatible with Apex Fusion?
If it has RTSP without authentication then yes. I am not sure sadly. Never used it.
Can sonoff camera work?
Never heard of them.
Does the Wyze camera work
I believe it does.
Can you make video of it please?
Can a nest camera work?
No it can not. Google took over and locked the API.
Where do I get the APIs for Neptune APEX?
?
I dont think there is any API for Neptune. Check the api websites but most likely no
Correct
I use google nest. Not run on apex tho.
Correct. Authentication can not be bypassed on Nest.
@@ReefAndReptileAutomation bummer, great camera

@@tomb18ca Video is meant to explain how to setup cameras on the Dashboard. I do not have different cameras to test and show.
@@ReefAndReptileAutomation Oh, sorry. I thought you were from Neptune Systems. Understood! Thanks
