The steel drums (a.k.a. steel pans) are the national instrument of The Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, the only (petroleum) oil-producing Caribbean nation. These drums were traditionally made from oil barrels. I am a Trini and I am glad to see and hear the instruments played well in this video.
I went for a few months without playing in 1998 when I was dealing with some 'personal' issues. I needed a fresh start...everything has been great since then.

Next time you go to a party with a musician or a DJ, try to see how much time you're spending with your friends and how much time you're marveling the band. You can't blame these people for just enjoying their company.

Beautiful performance, I absolutely love steel drums on how they sound and the rhythm you can have with them. I think everyone is right when they say the people at this wedding are really oblivious to this music. They look like a group of people with lots of money, hope they paid you well!! Great job friend..we jammin'!!
