    Thanks Pamela! Papermart online has spools of sequins if that is what you are after in lots of colors! I have not used sequins much except for the big loose assortment bags I get at joanns but I do not know if that would give you the colors you need, also they are assorted in size and not many are tiny. Look at the papermart ones and see of they have what you need!

    How did you do the EMBOSSING on the heart? Was it from pressing the cutout heart into the RUBBER MAT? Where do I find the rubber mat? Thanks!
    Also, can you EMBOSS a design onto aluminim blanks or copper blanks for using as jewelry pendants? What products would you use? What is the process? Thanks!

    Hi love your videos 2 questions. 1 do you have to use poster board for this and 2 can you resin this?

    • @thefrugalcrafter
      @thefrugalcrafter  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I used mat board which is thicker than poster board. I imagine you could resin it but I have not tried it.

  • @almacasiano
    @almacasiano 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Lets talk about a little more recycling...The large piece of poster board you cut your heart out of makes a great decoration over a window, Let me explain / weave in & out of the holes with a very sheer fabric or use pretty ribbon and of course some bling ! hang a few crystals from it...the sky's the limit even use the punch on some pretty scrapbook paper... You always have GREAT ideas !!! and I like to push them a little more, thank you as always for sharing !!! XOXO Alma

    Thanks for your awesome video, I see that your using a crocodile tool, I feel they are way to spendy, I just use an awl & a jewelers hammer also I have a jewelers hand drill, but love your pendant idea, the rhinestones you mention here are not ever just $1.00 anymore, I wish that they were.

      Matt board, embossing enamel and jewelry findings

  • @thefrugalcrafter
    @thefrugalcrafter  12 ปีที่แล้ว

    well, I think most stampers would have the tools and supplies already and the base is cardboard and the rhinestone are 91 cents a package. I guess if you had no tool and supplies on hand it would not be. I try to show ways to get more use out of the tools and supplies we likely have. That's how:)

      Isn't it awesome how she does her tutorials?! I just love her to death with all her money saving/making tips and incredible talent to boot. She's super generous by sharing all this with us and she's aware of , in fact, encourages us I'm sure, the fact that we make them our own by making them the way we like them ourselves. I'm sure she was satisfied when she read that you were doing something different and I'm sure they were beautiful (3 yrs ago, wow). This is the second video of hers that I've seen and can't wait to finish this one and see more. Happy crafting and thank you Lindsay for all you do for me and everyone else fortunate enough to find you!!!
