    Maybe you could take us through your weight session. What exercises, how many reps, what's your squat 1rm?

      I can definitely look into it. British Rowing are usually very secretive on the training we do.

    hi Matthew, if your looking for content you might want to ignore the 'there has to be a big idea behind each video' voice and just post what you do each week. I know it does not sound very interesting to you but given the limmeted amount of rowing content on youtube, it is just really nice to have something to watch which I have not seen 15 times before. ps if you really want content ideas you could always get a viewer to send a video of there technique and critique/show your rowing and break it down.

    Really enjoy your videos Matt so always nice to see when you’ve posted one, had a question about the drag. What drag do you have the erg set to for long steady state and do you change it depending on the workout?

      Hey Jamie, I usually have my drag around 132 but recently moved to 135 and leave it alone for everything

      Matthew Tarrant Thanks Matt, been doing mine on 120 for a long time so it’s gonna be interesting experimenting on 135, I want to start pushing my longer ergs splits a bit closer to what you guys are doing so hopefully that’ll help

      Haha sometimes it's nice to have the excuse "all the ergs were taken" hopefully means the sport is on the rise 😅
