@Roxie Rocks And this isn't Steve's first time through this either. He loss his other son in a tragic and sudden way as well. And probably the one thing that help him with that grief was Oliver. Now he's gonna lose this son as well. That's gonna knock anyone for six, especially given Steve's history with depression. Yes, it's horrible what Leanne is going through, but she's not the only one losing a child or whose been through this before.
I know and like Steve already lost a child before this would be his second time now but Leanne acting like Steve never lost a child and doesn’t know what it feels like to lose a child but Steve already lost another son a few years ago and poor Nick he’s losing a stepson yes I know Nick not Oliver’s biological father but he’s his stepfather and it’s still so sad but yeah Leanne is acting like Steve doesn’t know what it’s like losing a child or Steve never lost a child before but he has a few years ago but I do feel bad for them all and Emma and Amy and Simon are losing a brother yes I know there not biological siblings but still it still hurts the same for everyone

I think what Leanne is tryna say is that Oliver is her own and when he’s gone she won’t be a mum a propel mum cuz she’s got no kids.... but Simon is her stepson has she ever considered him as her family?!

Leanne is just so selfish maybe when he does pass away Leanne will learn not to take her shit out on everyone else...truth hurts but y'know also poor Simon he's changed so much only to be yelled at by leanne...
He has an incurable form of mitochondrial disease so he will die at a very young age. It's a horrendously cruel disease, and every child is different so they won't know exactly how long Oliver has. And in this case, that's up to the writers.
