Omg hearing you praise Eleanor Oliphant makes me so happy bc I don’t hear that many ppl talk about it! I read it in feb of 2022 & was obsessed. I didn’t have a bookstagram yet at the time so I was just talking ab it to anyone that would listen 😂 I still recommend it to this day. I wanna reread it so bad but I keep putting newer books before it but I literally miss her and Raymond sm 🥲

In the UK I've always known S.O.S. as 'Save Our Souls' but it seems to stem from Maritime Morse Code when ships used telegraph machines or lanterns to signal using the dash/ dot format of morse code so 'Save our Ship' makes more sense! Another fab video and eager to get to some of these books on my own 'tbr' shelf! ❤

I had to completely agree with you on the Paris Apartment. The whole "build up" was so slow and boring in a way and the 10,000 POVs was a bit too much and got confusing. The ending like you said was just not realistic.
We almost always agree but “The Right Move” is one of my favs of the year! I loved the guy in it so much! It’s definitely not top tier literature but I enjoyed the story! Did you read the first one??

As for thrillers, I read "The Guest List" by Lucy Foley and I wasn't vibing with it either. It was a decent read, but I don't think her writing and storytelling is for me. If you want to get into thrillers I definitely recommend Jennifer Hillier or Alice Feeny.
