there are a lot of foods that are easy to make, but not up to a professional standard. that's why a lot of people say "oh it looks fine to me" or "i'd still eat that" any time gordon complains about a mishap.
Try cooking a Risotto to professional standards, while handling other dishes, working with a team, predicting cooking times, on live TV, while GR is yelling at everyone. If you make anything short from perfect you'll get called a Donkey, set back your entire team, and suddenly one Risotto becomes many Risottos. An active professional kitchen is nothing like your kitchen at home.
