I love the commentator said 'Akimova Express', he said it first during Volero - Milano game in CEV CL last season. And now he use 'Russian Connection', of course for short time before Markova leave for VakifBank. idk how Novara get in Challenge Cup while Chieri in CEV Cup.

Espero que terzic convoque a markova. No se porque siento que no será convocada. Ella lo merece. No solo es buena atacando tambien sirviendo. Seria una injusticia que no sea llamada. Me encanta la conexion con Akimova 🥰

Frankly speaking, there are so many option available for Terzic if Russia are allow to compete, but maybe we will see it for 5 years to come, that bcs CEV and FIVB are depend on Western money, they cant stand the pressure. The only Sport Federation which allow russian to compete as neutral athletes is IJF (Judo), while other Federation like IFF (Fencing) only allow russian fencer who has no connection with military, this purposedly to excluded all Top Russian fencer who hold military rank in russian army including 5 Top World rank fencer like Irina Deriglazova, Sofya Velikaya, Sergey Bida and Yana Egorian, all of them belong to CSKA club which get their fund directly from Ministry of Defences. Many russian athletes are also active soldiers, that why Russia always on the top of medal ranking in Military Games tournament.
The absent of Russia from Internasional Sport have affected some of the sports where Russia was among the powerhouse including Volleyball (almost in all categories), Ice Hockey (men), Figure Skating, Fencing, Bandy, Rythmic Gymnastic, Artistic Gymnastic, Artistic Swimming, Handball (women), Wrestling (men), High Jump and Pole Vault (women), etc.
