another home run, Stefan. thank you for the awesome demo of this beautiful tech, and Happy Holidays from my family and i to you and yours. Can't wait to see/hear what you have coming. Much love, brother.
This is a very interesting pedal. Your pedal demos are awesome. Whenever I look out for a pedal here, I first check if there is a demo by ThePedalZone. Great Job!
YESSSS my favorite reviewer paired with my favorite French pedal builder, Christmas has come early this year! :D Stellar review and musicmanship as always. I always come back to your reviews just to listen to the music. It's that great! it inspired me to write a lot, maybe someday I'll be brave enough to share it with people! On a more personal note, in 2018/2019 I went through a really tough bout of depression that almost claimed my life (thank god for quick-thinking friends) and your demos were a biiiig part of what helped me snap out of it and find reasons to want to live again. It made me realize music is my true calling and that it alone is enough to live for. YOU helped me with that. Your reviews and kindness helped me in ways I can never repay, and I'm eternaly grateful for that. Never stop doing what you love, because that love shows and inspires a lot of people. You're a great person, a great reviewer, share some with the rest of us dammit! :) Happy holidays to you and your loved ones, see you in the next video :) Love from France
I was following this pedal and i really was hoping it could arrive in your hands , or feet.. I really enjoy this demo . GREAT GREAT GREAT , one of the best pedal of 2020 , the best review of this pedal .
I’ve been wanting to purchase one of these pedals since I first heard of their release. I believe I’ll be getting my hands on one this Christmas. But I’ve revisited this video of yours countless times. Love the demo you put out of this pedal. I love how excited you get over pedals in general, especially ones you really enjoy. Just wanted to thank you. This video has been holding me over until I’m finally able to pull the trigger on a BHS of my own!
oh my, what an amazing review video on an amazing pedal. the effort you put into showcasing the characteristics of the pedal really shines through, this is high quality. thank you, keep up the awesome work! (p.s.: I just wishlisted Black Hole Symmetry)
Happy holidays Stefan and great demo! That machine is just flat out gorgeous, someone majored in graphic design. It would be a formidable post metal device in the effects loop of a high gain amp.
I could easily spend hours on your channel :) its soooo soothing and also educating and interesting because I am a big big reverb addict haha and I am always on the outlook for new cool pedals and inspiration. You deserve every single one of your subscribers.

@@thepedalzone love all of your demos! I own a lot of the pedals you have on the show. Thanks for helping me unlock some great tones. I hope next year is your best yet!!!! Cheers!
One should always be on a Mogwai binge. Best band in the world! :) If you're in the EU, then I still have one of these in stock over at my webshop thepedalzone.com. Really classy and cool pedal
Nicely designed pedal! A tap tempo for the delay side would’ve been nice. Also the pitch reverb would’ve been way more useful if it spanned the -12 to +12 range in quantised stages like on the OBNE reverse. When I think of outer space I tend to hear dark reverbs shifted down rather than up.
I really want to make a super simple board with my nocturnal for my clean tones, this for the dirty tones, and a benson preamp to combine with either for leads. I think itd be a super fun board. Especially if its just me singing and writing.

Sorry if my "good boy" comment came out wrong - I just meant good for you. Be you. It is wondrous. Have a nice holiday, Stefan.
This pedal is on my list. I mean, I COULD put my fuzz after reverb, because I'm rarely using it anyway. I can do that as a test, but I'd like to own that pedal. It would replace a few pedals I've got.
It's an experience in itself how the three elements in this pedal work together, so definitely worth owning if you're into post-rock and shoegaze textures. Plus, it just looks hella good :)
@@thepedalzone Definitely! The pedals I have (I tried putting fuzz after delays and reverbs for days now) sound too chaotic even when set up pretty subtly, while this one is more of a controlled chaos.
Hi Stefan! Amazing sounds 🙂It would be great if you could explain your signal chain as I'm mesmerized by the overall tone - even at the start before you even turn the pedal on! Was it just guitar -> pedal -> REV220 input -> REV220 XLR -> audio interface? Many thanks - keep up the good work! 🙂
@@thepedalzone amazing, Stefan! I will buy one for sure. I really wanted a jazzmaster type guitar for different textures. Thanks buddy! Have a nice Christmas and new year Cheers from Brazil
One of my faves of yours! Love everything I’ve seen from this pedal, you do a perfect job of showcasing it. What tuning are you in for this demo? Sounds open!
Just picked up one of these...I have to say that I've had a few fuzz pedals and have never been able to get the perfect sound from them - this pedal does it. Not sure what it is about it, but it is great. Any thoughts on where this might work on a pedalboard? I've only played it by itself but am so impressed I may have to find some space on my board...HA!
Great video, I have to it played a part in buying the pedal. 😄 Now I have it since few hours, I like it a lot but I have a question about the fuzz and its setting : I do my level, which I have to push with delay and reverb to have sufficient output (on Motu M4). If I turn on the fuzz even at 12 o'clock, the sound level increases a lot. Basically if it's at 9 o'clock, the output level is roughly the same as without fuzz, but as soon as I go up, I have to compensate by lowering the input level on the Motu (full fuzz, enormously), which is not really not practical. Is such a difference in level "normal" on the pedal, fuzz off and on? If yes, how do you manage it ? Thanks.
Love your videos! The jam at the end of this is powerful and very inspiring. I was torn between Loomer (your demo was best on the internet) and Black Hole Symmetry. Both are amazing, but Black Hole may have won out after this demo. Did you record it in real time with a looper? If so, what did you use? Thank you.
What a pedal! What a demo! Few practical questions: When making that last sweet jam, do you record each track and then play above them, or is it all done in real time via looper? Also, would love to know every tiny detail on how you record your music and videos, from cable setup to software and editing. Could be a cool idea for a future video?. Keep inspiring us Stefan!

I'm just wondering because of both this and the Keeley Loomer were featured in videos this year, though both have been out for a while. I can easily imagine a bunch of cool sound combinations that way. Sounds like fun. I only own one though.
