To make new towels more absorbent do this. 1- Place like colored towels only in machine; don't overload- half load is best. 2-Start a rinse cycle with hot water and let the machine fill completely. Hot water will break down and wash off the fabric softeners that towel manufacturers use to make towels feel fluffy in the store. Make sure they are completely submerged so that the entire towel soaks in the water. 3- Add one cup of white vinegar to water. 4- Let the washing machine go through a complete wash cycle. A regular full cycle will include rinse and spin cycles. 5- Begin a second wash cycle without drying your towels first. Do not take your towels out of the washing machine to dry them yet! Instead, leave them in the washer and let it fill up with hot water again. Use the same settings that you used the first time. 6- Add 1/2 cup (120 g) of baking soda to the second wash cycle. Add the baking soda when the washing machine is completely filled with water. DO NOT ADD VINEGAR AND BAKING SODA IN THE SAME CYCLE TO SAVE TIME! 7- After 2nd cycle dry towels as you normally do. Don't add fabric softner when you wash your sheets in the future to keep them more absorbent. Adding vinegar also helps set eyes in new fabrics and helps prevent fading, not just towels.

I've seen his commercial with the water test, and it looks like the "other brand" towel was probably washed with a liquid fabric softener, because fabric softener will make fabric less absorbent initially. You'll notice that the "other" towel is a little fluffier. It's clear that the "other" towel was manipulated to not absorb as well.

Whenever your towels aren't absorbent or they really aren't clean - just let it marinate in white vinegar... it acts as a natural disinfectant, fabric softener and eliminates ordor (really well).
Don't put fabric softener on your towels. It puts an oil on them, so they don't absorb the water. Also don't use softener on undies (men, women, and children), socks, and baby clothes. Baby clothes are flame resistant, so the oil in the softener takes that away. Undergarments are supposed to absorb sweat, so the oil in the softener takes that away also., aka jock itch and fungus on toes.
I just bought these towels in purple, and I noticed they bleed a lot when soaked in water. They were soft and absorbent, however, some towels and washcloths had the stitching issue you spoke of.
He's got terrific bath robes slippers...cat and doggie beds too. The sky is the limit. 73,000,000 did their Christmas shopping with Mike Lindell. Only way to shop.

Given that the towels you reviewed were more of less similar in quality and that none of them are made in the US, the point you made about pricing is most compelling. Heck i still have all my towels that i bought some 30 or 40 yrs ago and they are still soft and absorb water, my mom bought me some about 25 yrs ago they were so holely the pope told me to use them as basement window curtains been using them there for the last 15 yrs just might last another 15 but i doubt it. As long as you buy a good quality all cotton towel you'll be good problem is a lot of towels marketed as cotton are actually a cotton blend and that's where you get into the absorbency issue. In a good set of quality cotton towels will set you back anywhere between 30 and 50 bucks you can pay more and people do but I like to stay in that 30 to 50 range. There's a scale that use on Cotton towels for absorbency similar to thread count on sheets I think and these towels do rank fairly high. If we didn't get to see you in the shower this test never happened. 😉
I only like “my pillow” after it flattens out some, I know that’s the appeal but it just works better when it is flatter. I personally think some of it is way overpriced.

People don't realize that the pillow has various sizes and need to do the research to get the correct one for them. I got an original 3 years ago as a gift. They got it at Walmart. It was the medium fill. I'm kinda bug so I really needed the full full. Well you won't hear this much but I just called them for a separate issue and mentioned my MyPillow. They said they would swap it out and pay to ship my old one back. Who the hell does that anymore? My neck issues after a bad car accident are just about gone. I'm a believer and I look at things like an engineer and a scientist. Get a MyPillow, support mike and his recalling the 2020 election and call them directly and get the right pillow. You won't.go wrong! I LOVE them!!!

He may have treated the towel in the commercial. But, there are towels that don't absorb; they just seem to push around the water. More often than not the towels that don't absorb have a velour finish. The towels that absorb the best have a terry cloth finish.
I love my target towels but I had som from 3 years and I think it is time for new ones but I got one new one and loved it so I might get this and then the bogo to my brother cuz he has a fancy one that has his Initials and they are soft but not absorbent

You gotta get the right fill and size I went threw them all until I got the highest fill one in a smaller size. Also following instructions super important for it to fluff up. I have had mine for about 5 years and they are going strong wash em maybe 2-3 times a year and they come out white as snow again, replaced all the pillows in my house with these because of all the wrong fills beforehand but nobody is complaining, only my little brother doesn't use one and that's cause he refused to try any of them lol.

I just watched the commercial and the voiceover says "The new MyPillow towels are exclusively made with 100% USA combed cotton," but they never actually say they're 'American Made." They chose to use very slippery verbiage.
He’s said in interviews the cotton used is grown and harvested in the USA but has to be shipped to other countries with the scale and production to make towels and other textiles.
"Made in Pakistan with U.S.A cotton" is on their website. We've had several sets of Target towels for 10+ years. Sounds like stiff competition but the MyPillow towels are currently $44 a set so may win out today. 😄 We have their pillows and sheets which we like but the quality is comparable to other brands, not above them, which is what they need to edge out other brands. Good review!
I'll stick with the Target towel... that particular one you have (in the middle) is a favorite of my cats. They love to cuddle it when it comes out of the dryer. Great review!
If you are having trouble with your towels absorbing, you may be using too much soap. Give them a good wash with a cup of white vinegar and see if that makes a difference.

I think in Mikes demo, he must have used a towel that hadnt been washed yet. You know when you buy certain things, clothes, tshirts, whatever, it seems like they have starch or some kind of chemical in them that makes them fresh and crisp looking. Therefore less absorbing.
Too much fabric softener makes a towel water repellent. They could have laundered the competing towels differently. I wouldn't put anything past an infomercial shill.
On the demo commercial when the water doesn't absorb, it's a well known fact that when you wash your towels with fabric softener that they don't absorb as well as they do without softener. I imagine the towel in the commercial had been washed with a ton of softener.
Just like any other big business man, he makes claims that are a little sketchy, I have a few of his products that I received as gifts for playing in golf fundraisers and I was overly impressed. The fact that it wasn’t made in the USA, like he claims really sucks.
I believe it was fox news who made the claim about the product being made in America, I don't beleive mike himself said it. Rather I didn't look into it and I didn't hear watch a video of fox news saying it and someone calling mike out for that.... but that's all they had lol.
Made in the USA 100% are his pillows and mattresses. The towels are made with cotton grown in USA, however, there aren't many places in USA that actually make the towel portion.

All cotton shrinks depending on the kind of cotton is used shrink more or shrink less and all cotton absorbs.

I think in Mikes demo, he must have used a towel that hadnt been washed yet. You know when you buy certain things, clothes, tshirts, whatever, it seems like they have starch or some kind of chemical in them that makes them fresh and crisp looking. Therefore less absorbing.
Too much fabric softener makes a towel water repellent. They could have laundered the competing towels differently. I wouldn't put anything past an infomercial shill.

On the demo commercial when the water doesn't absorb, it's a well known fact that when you wash your towels with fabric softener that they don't absorb as well as they do without softener. I imagine the towel in the commercial had been washed with a ton of softener.

Just like any other big business man, he makes claims that are a little sketchy, I have a few of his products that I received as gifts for playing in golf fundraisers and I was overly impressed. The fact that it wasn’t made in the USA, like he claims really sucks.

I believe it was fox news who made the claim about the product being made in America, I don't beleive mike himself said it. Rather I didn't look into it and I didn't hear watch a video of fox news saying it and someone calling mike out for that.... but that's all they had lol.
Made in the USA 100% are his pillows and mattresses. The towels are made with cotton grown in USA, however, there aren't many places in USA that actually make the towel portion.
I'm buying this guy stuff because he supports Trump his products are good and they took him off the shelves for his political view

Excellent review. I think Mike didn’t wash the ‘luxury’ towels before the test so they would still have a factory chemical coating, likely slowing absorption. Kind of a secret trick. I hope not, cause everyone likes Mike

Someone has to grow that cotton. You cannot compete with textiles from other countries. They use slave labor and American wouldn't buy them. They would go to Walmart and that is a huge problem

I think the only accurate way is to measure the actual towel you washed before you wash and not just compare to the companion towel. Js
Watch the commercial closely the “average” towel has a mound that has been fluffed up while the my pillow towel has a depression patted down. Of course the water will run off the average towel. You want to make your average towel absorb??? Let it air dry don’t put it in the dryer
