Dear Johanna, you are so kind, lovable, adjusting ...... Your innerbeing is so beautiful.... It's beyond the words to say how you try to find happiness in everything you do.... It's so adorable how you could understand different cultures , people and nature
Hey johanna, you should do some videos to introduce us to Finnish cuisine. Wish your husband a very happy birthday and both of you a very fulfilling and joy filled year ahead!!
Me being always camera shy person, totally understand his dilemma that he wants to love you but when he is on camera, he feels embarrassed to show the love. But, I have seen his eyes which is alway totally on you. Vinod god bless you ❤️❤️
Delighted that the two of you found true love, even if road took unexpected twists and turns. Love your simplicity, positivity and open mindedness. Stay blessed.
Vinod bhai is very lucky to have a wife who cooks delicious dishes on Birthdays...Well, in case of those plastic milk pouches, can be use for small plants.
Hi Johanna, I last watched your video where u spoke about missing your dad. Today, I spent the entire first day of the new year binge watching your videos. You hv sm awsm man as you husband and I really admire the way you hv adjusted to a totally new culture. All along, I thought you were married to a Keralite, so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw you in Haryana. From Finland to India life seems like one big adventure and am enjoying watching every bit of your well documented posts. Congratulations for the 👶 news and wishing you both a great year ahead!
firstly, not being as excited about bithdays is not an indian thing, he is a person and has his own PERSONALITY which is not just determined by where he lives. i know so many indians who are more crazy about their bdays than his wives and maybe their differences are a good thing, and balance them out.. i have noticed some foreigners in india have this neo-colonist mindset of us vs them where they put every personal difference down to countries and it is not nice!
U are SO natural It’s adorable All the way frm Malaysia where much Malayalam culture was brought by early immigrants from South India Viva Scandinavia in India!
We live at the other end of India ,Guwahati and dont know each other at all, but i sure loved your enthusiasm how you celebrated the birthday and yes your cooking as well. Like someone has already mentioned, its nice to see you happy
In a nice fun way, it was amusing to see the discomfort in your husband on his birthday. Happy birthday Vinod. You are lucky to have met and married Johanna who is such a lovely girl.
Milk bags are collected by 'harithasena' which means a 'green army'.It works pretty well in my village..they collect the washed nd dried milk packets and turns it into waste bags and flower pots..I don't know about the work of harithasena in your village
Johanna, l admire how you adjust to another country's culture l will get homesick You are such a good daughter in law wife n mother Vinod is very fortunate not everyone in this century will cook especially another person's country's food You are amazing God bless you as you do to others 👍🙏❣️🌹you will be blessed as you bless others really! Like Keannu Reeves he is so kind n generous to others
Well, Vinod has my full 100% understanding and support in this view, because I too absolutely LOATHE my birthday, snd will if necessary go and lock myself away, where I can't be found, and don't answer the phone on that day. So I fully understand and sympathise with Vinos for not enjoying birthday celebrations.
In the monsoon you should put that clothes rack inside your bedroom or living room DIRECTLY under a fan, on high setting. It works a treat, works very well! 👍🏼 in a few hours your clothes get dry
Wishing you guys only the best. The milk bags look quite sturdy, you can fill them with soil make some holes for drainage and use them to grow small plants.
@Johanna North :Milk plastic bag used to have a cash reward system the last time i was in india, which is probably 15 yrs ago. You should enquire around if there are vendors who are willing to take plastic for cash reward. vendors do actually recycle the plastic and they are willing to pay a price for these bags.
Happy Birthday to your husband. It is amazing you cook Indian foods also, and so well. He is 35, when it is your birthday we will know your age, maybe. You both are a happy couple together, nice to see that. Children?
@@JohannaNorth Okay thanks for revealing your age was not necessay, I was just curious, because you had mentioned your husband's age. Where I am, it is said "never ask a woman her age". Your husband probably will look younger if he shaves his beard.🥳
I don't feel bad about my age. I love growing older and hopefully wiser 😊 I love this age much more than having been 25. And I wouldn't let him shave his beard for such a reason! No need to look younger 🥰
We do have facility to collect plastic packets and bags, there are womens arranged by Panchayats known as 'haritha karma sena (~green army). We have to pay them 30rs or so on each time when they came to pickup. Plastics are shredded and mix with tar to build roads.
Happy birthday to your husband and happy day to you too! You've made some yummy stuff!! Please give the exact recipe (cups, tbsp, temperature, time) for your apple pie...It looks much easier than other recipes shown on TH-cam.
Vinod, Vinod, Vinod! Shake your head! Birthdays are not solemn occasions. (Such a common but forgivable mistake of the young!) Happy Birthday! 🎈🎈🎈😊 The idea is to rack up as many of them as possible, open the champagne, light sparklers and dance for joy with each one. Most especially because you have a beautiful wife who celebrates and pampers you not only on birthdays, but also with any day dosa days and apple pies. I predict that your 65th birthday could be a chubby hubby day if you don't watch out. Be warned and prepare. Plus, another birthday beats the alternative. The day you will never have another birthday, THAT is a solemn occasion.
I think he does like getting older and wiser, but it's just the concept of birthdays that he doesn't really enjoy. He's never been big for parties, gifts or being the center of attention. Even at school he didn't like anyone knowing his birthday. I can respect that, which is why I focus on doing the stuff he does enjoy! Like trying to make him chubby ;)
Just noticed bottle water in your Kitchen, the place where you guys are should have safe ground water, you should be using that after testing that for e-Coli and or chemicals to ensure it is safe to drink.
We don't have a water purifier and aren't planning to install one, so we're good with using the bottled water system provided by our residential area 😊
Companies are liable to collect those empty packets back....you can send those empty milk packets or any packet(like outer plastic packet of sanitary napkins, chips packets, etc) back to the company through their outlet or directly sending the collected packets to company's manufacturing unit. Hope it helps.🌱
I guess there is some past experience some memory from childhood which makes him more reserve this person must be hurted in past more then he deserves from the ones whom he believed the most that's why he always try to pull back himself from happiness trust me I am telling this from my experience he require special councelling with you and his close friends
If possible, you can directly buy milk from the milkman who own few cows at his home. My family prefers to support small businesses which are eco-friendly too. We stopped buying veggies from BigBasket because they use degradable packaging material only foe few veggies and not all.
You are putting so much energy into your relationship with him and this must not be taken for granted. I wonder how much he appreciates you. He is fortunate to have you🍀 Take care of yourself as well.
Belated birthday wishes to your husband! By the way, how did you choose Payannoor to settle down, and do you mind telling us about his job?. How are you guys managing without knowing Malayalam?
I think in general people know English very well in Kerala 😊 we moved here for work, but I'm not gonna talk about my husband's job online. Hope you understand! 🙏
Yes, he's crazy and reverses like that! 😂😂. It is a very steep slope to our garage, so he has to reverse the car in good speed. But that part in the video is sped up actually

Everyone has different personality, you can't force anyone to be expressive or romantic on camera specially for Introverts, it's hard for us.

@lil girl he is very romantic. But not expressive. To know him better you have to meet him and see how romantic he is when they are alone.
U cant be jugdemental if someone is not expressive thats how he or she is ,just simply showing off is not only way to love
