I think it’s a normal initial feeling to be not thrilled with an ex’s achievements in life; but to think they don’t deserve happiness is too much haha. First of all, if she went into a relationship with him out of pure intent- love, she shouldn’t feel too strong about resenting him with his achievements. The other day, I was just thinking about this-I thought, if anything good happens to either myself or my ex’s life after breaking up, only goes to show that the breakup was truly for the best. Also, I don’t think we should make our ex’s achievements about us at all. I think the healthiest way for us to deal with this is to actually focus on achieving something too because then it’s easier to acknowledge someone else’s achievements knowing that you, yourself, have achieved something as well. Also, at the end of the day, we can’t force gratitude on anyone. Anyway, I hope one day, she can find it in her to be happy not just for her ex’s achievements but perhaps for all the people around her as well. :)

I remember the relationship between Lynette and Tom sa series ng desperate housewives. Alpha si wife and always “fixing” si husband sa decisions until naghiwalay sila bec naging CEO na si husband. Then may sinabi si Husband dun na alam niyang alpha si Wifey kaya always in favor siya sa decision making. Pag parehong alpha goodbye na agad 🤣
