    This is the best video dale ever made imo, the bike pov makes you feel like you are in adventure with dale.

    Hi Dale, thanks for exploring these areas, as an Indonesian from kinda rural area, just wanna say do not underestimate the impact of your interaction to local kids. I am a proud villager from East Java, first interaction with european when I was around 9-10y.o in the remnants of Mojopahit temple on the slope of Penanggungan Mountain. Here I am now finishing my PhD in US top engineering campus. I still hold the very memory of that day, even the topic we talked.

    The fruits you're asking about is palm coconut, which is the main commodity from Sumatera. It is not edible directly, but it can be processed to make cooking oil and butter. It ia also raw material for biodiesel.

    You really know how to have fun just by urself.. I miss my little village in sumatera, in bengkulu, more specific is in Dusun Durian Sebatang. I was enjoy playing in the river when I was child.. Clean water and fresh air..
