With a WIRES repeater so you not have to program the offset? Just go to the repeater input frequency in VFO mode and press Function then AMS like the video starts? That is super easy. I’m assuming it works based on standard offsets following the convention of your country?

Yes. Open-Spot or any Pi-Star based hotspot will allow you to connect to YSF and FCS rooms with a regular wifi connection from your house. To be clear though, you technically won't be on WIRES-X, but you'll have access to YSF and FCS rooms that are bridged to WIRES-X rooms.
That is a hard question to answer, it has to do with your antennae, your txt power. Not to mention obstructions, remember that uhf and vhf are line of sight. I am 30 miles away from a wires x repeater here in Denver and can hit the repeater full quieting.
Hi: I have the Yaesu FT70D. I want to program this radio using a software , but every time that I connect the data cable I have this message "" INVALID COM SETTING"" How can I solve this issue? Thanks

Do I need to enter the downlink or Uplink frequency then press F and AMS button? Neither works and I am very close to Mission Hills. I should be able to connect. Do I need to enter Uplink Tone and offset? I'm a bit confused..thank you in advanced.
There's no uplink tone when in digital mode. You can still save the tone to the memory, so that if the repeater is being used in FM mode, you can get into it on FM.

A node, via an FTM-100, is active in our community now. I've acquired a -70. Disconnecting from room, either the #99999 or long press the * method.
