I did not understand. Can you recommend videos or ressources so I can udnerstand more in depth how it works ?I want to buy a RO system but I am afraid of buying the wrong one
It recommends to change the membrane once a year. I've never changed it in the 2 1/2 years I've had it; and have never had a problem with water flow. Should I go ahead and change it?
1 year is just recommended but it isn't an exact science. It really depends on how bad your water is or how much use the system gets. Do you have a TDS meter? Test your water with one. If it reads fine then you do not need to change it.
@@uswatersystems Thank you. No I don't have a TDS meter. But I usually just change the sediment and charcoal filters every six months and water flows well and tastes good.
Yes. You don't know what that 170-200 ppm is composed of. When you put in place a 6 stage RO system. The first 5 stages will reduce the TDS close to 0 ppm while the final stage will re-mineralized it, hence increasing the TDS. At least in this way, you know have a pure water with known essential minerals.
This is the best explanation Ive heard on how these things actually work
We appreciate that! Thank you for your comment!
insane in the membrane
Thank you for the video video. It really helped. I wonder how much water these can process. Mine doesn't have that information written on it.
This is actually a very good explanation of basic Ro system

@@TheTeeProd Unfortunately I don't know any other video my friend

@@GaryH315223 I work for culligan and we change them when rejection rate gets below 85% (tds in - tds out)/ tds in
thanks you sir
Pl tell me any one this membrane hyd me kaha miltha hi
Chemical to membarn ye or no
my water tds is 170-200. plz guide shall I go for ro system?
A RP system would be a good idea!
US Water Systems what is rp system}?
ro is not necessary but u can use sediment & carbon filter to enhance taste of water

A good effort but a little too TMI-ish and too-fast-folksy at times.
