Fun story: at out library, there’s a sun conure named Citrus. She’s a very sweet bird who loves kids, and I remember running over and dancing with her when I was little. She’s been at that library for so long now, but now I’m moving. I’m going to miss that little bird.

I wonder if Nemo will have the power of magnet bird.
I have a sun conure, and his name is Cosmo! Cosmo is very playful and energetic and it can be tough cleaning his cage because he can be REALLY messy 😂! But in the end it’s all worth it and I wouldn’t give him up for the world! I had got him about March 2020, 1 year ago (during online school and lockdown), and he definitely has done a great job of cheering me up while I was stressing about homework! Cosmo absolutely SHREDS the heck out of his bird kabob it seems like I have to get a new one almost every two days! (glad he’s enjoying it, though!) he also enjoys the foraging box toys and the ones with finger traps and paper shreds, I have to replace those quite often as well. When I got him he was already harnessed trained so I bought the avian harness like you had recommended. He LOVES going outside and usually he goes out every other day, depending how much time I have (I’m still in schooling so I make sure to get all my work done so I have time to spend time with him). Cosmo and I’s bond has definitely grown throughout the past months. I’ve used a lot of your tutorials/tips to get him trained, and he can play basketball and he is potty trained to poop inside of his cage if he can make it. Honestly Cosmo and I wouldn’t had made it this far if it weren’t for you. Have a great day!
Fun Fact: Cosmo loves to sit on my head and hang from my hair 😂 he reminds me of a toddler ahaha!

Nemo was well-socialized by his breeder, so taming isn't really necessary

Omg congrats! I adopted a baby Jenday in 2019!!! Her name is Clementine and unfortunately she was clipped when i rescued her. Shes still afraid of hands but I’ve made a lot of progress! She steps up and recalls but if you lift your hand to her too fast, she bites :( poor baby, shes 2 now and i only hope that she becomes as trusting as Nemo!

I really want a cockatiel but my mom doesn’t like the mess when birds are in the house and you have to take out all the scented products and non-stick coatings items in the house and you have to clean the bird’s poop I have two budgies in a small bird cage on is a male and his name is Joey and a female her name is sprinkles.Sprinkles is not that shy as joey is the scared and fat because both of them are on a seed diet . You really helped me feel and be prepared to welcome my new feathery friend into my household! Thank you so so so so much x a billion. Once we brought it in, it got settled(It only took about a day for my birb to get accustomed to us, but yours could take longer/shorter! I think my bird was just really friendly) and was super friendly and good! So I just really wanted to say thank you because you really helped me a lot with my little friend! When I rescued my male quaker and ringneck the previous owner was so sad to see them go she forgot to give us their food😆
Luckily they’re not picky eaters and took to the diet my current birds were eating without issue but that could have ended badly

I was there when Elle was going through the process of rescues 😭 some just didn’t respond.
A suggestion…you mentioned a scam on Craigslist or something…you should do a video about that or something similar, and advice on how to recognise those scams or something! 😊 Awesome bird too!!

its okay 😢 i’ve gone through it too, my new bird will be picked up tmr halo was my first bird i bought my own. She got out the house i felt like the word was ending but you’ll get through it. My second bird was bleeding from the vent not sure how but it was a traumatic experience. Hopefully i can get this bird to work out! hopefully you find your bird and try to watch more videos on to what to do and what not to do.
This is why recall training is extremely important because it's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when. "Birdtricks" on TH-cam has a video of when her budgie Blueberry got out of the house and thankfully she was able to lure Blueberry back using a clear perchance Tupperware full of food.
