    I’m an elder, at 67, and play guitar, from 10, so after, many technical years of study, having seen the royal Rajas-tan musicians, I witness an advanced creature, in this woman. 🙏🏾

    They say that when something is determined to be impossible by any means then it must be magic. Therefore I think you're bass playing is... Almost MAGIC. There are very few probably people in the world who can do what you do, and I am blown away, every time.

    Thankyou Mohini! I have seen some mystifying negative comments about your teaching . You ARE a very good teacher ,and that is coming from someone who has been a Course Director and Senior Music lecturer for over 20 yrs. You playing of course ..well...just off the scale !.Many go fast,but you are so musical with it as well.You have great musical maturity for someone so young .I love your playing.i also deeply love the way your talent shuts up all the testosterone-BS of the bass world.As a man ,and someone older,I was not threatened when I saw 17 Yr old girl play far far better than I ever could!!!!!!!.i was just so glad to see YOU doing it! 1 LOVE from England Mohini!!!

    You are on my favorite! I just retired after 40 years of playing bass but have to say you are very inspiring....may have to go shopping for a 4 string P-bass or J-bass (I sold these 2 bases). I got burn out trying to play with musicians that we're disciplined to get music arranged write. I am a perfectionist and wanted my music to be written, rehearsed, arranged, rehearsed until it could't be played it wrong if we wanted to!

      And IMO she's 1 of the very best electric bassists in the world, forget the "female" & "TH-cam" qualifications!

    • @Wizz15
      @Wizz15 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@FretsOnFire The fact other big-name musicians want to play with her also shows it’s not just your opinion, I think you can safely say she is objectively one of the best.

    • @FretsOnFire
      @FretsOnFire 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@Wizz15 Absolutely! One thing I'd love to see would be a reunion of Mohini & Senri with Guthrie! Since I first discovered both of them (both about 9-10yo) years ago, I always wanted to see them play together. I was so pleasantly surprised when Guthrie got both of them for those shows! There's no doubt that Mohini is at the level of the very best, like Victor Wooten, or any great bass player I can think of. I've seen her play stuff that I don't think I've seen anyone else play in fact. She was already fantastic when she was just a kid, and she's only gotten better.

    Thanks Mohini for straightening something out for me. I am American, from the USA and have had major problems pronouncing names of people from other nations, cultures, etc since I only speak English. When I saw the original video of this, I was very impressed, and I love that guy's drumming. I had been pronouncing his name Jergo (with a soft G, or a J, which is the same thing). You pronounce it with a hard G. You know the guy so I am going with the way you say it. So, for some reason, in the English language J always sounds like Jay. But G could sound like G or J. Same with German Chancellor Angela Merkel. I was saying it the soft G, the way we pronounce that name in America. Then I found out it was phonetically pronounced Angle (like 45 degree) with an a at the end. So much to learn and know. And you should know that I love your bass playing. No one does not love your bass playing.
