This case has always upset me so much. I've heard so many details of this case that were so sad and completely unnecessary. These people did what they did for absolutely no reason. Holly really had such a bright future ahead of her and these people just took her with no regard for anyone else. Some of the things I've read about this have really given me chills.

It seems so senseless, Holly had NOTHING to do with these people and was just about to go to school for an exam, her test questions probably floating through her mind as she walked outside to her car. Then they find her bones with her inhaler and pencils in the middle of the woods. I cant imagine how the brother feels knowing he was THERE and had he went outside to confront the man this may have turned out differently. I feel terrible for the Bobo family

He probably just expected an argument and thats it, maybe he'd hear about the argument later on when his sister got home from school. @@Pozorrogo It's easy to let him off the hook. As an older brother which I am of two sisters it's your Duty to intervene. Even if you hear an argument and don't get involved you step outside so the male knows your presence is there. Males will not usually get overtly aggressive when another Male is present. There are usually Consequences. He thought it was her boyfriend not husband. Boyfriends don't get that privilege or baby daddy's either. You Marry my Sister and give her your last name that's different, even then you step Up to make sure it doesn't escalate. He had 3 chances to intervene and possibly save his sister's Life. He had doubts, his mother confirmed that wasn't Drew shoot him! He should have grabbed his Gun, and ran as fast as he could in the direction his sister was headed. That is a Father and Brother's Duty to protect the females of the family against Males who can turn predator at any time, no matter what their title is. Clint failed to Protect his Sister because he didn't want to get involved plain and simple.

I don't understand how Holly's brother didn't realize something was wrong
If Holly had an exam that day, why would she all of a sudden be turkey hunting???
After watching the trial I learned that Zach Adams and Holly's boyfriend Drew were NOT of the same stature...it's amazing that Holly's brother confused her killer with her boyfriend!
Holly would also not have been casually walking into the woods if she was being kidnapped. He should have picked up on the fact that Holly was being forced to walk in the woods simply by the way she moved
If Holly was arguing with a male, why wouldn't her brother at least check on her to see if she was alright.
Lastly, if the neigbor heard screams how was it possible that Holly's brother didn't?
I'm not saying I think that Holly's brother was involved by any means but I am astounded by how naive he was.

It's not that he "got off" but he sure had a sweetheart deal, receiving an 8 year sentence in Holly's case. Sometimes prosecutors have to make a deal with the devil to get justice for the angel.
FUN FACT: Important to note, plea deals in murder cases are always discussed with the victim's family prior to being enacted. In this case, Holly's family agreed to the plea deal. While it's not fair, the state needed his testimony to help secure convictions against the two brothers, one of whom was the actual murderer. In cases that involve multiple perpetrators (defendants), prosecutors consider a plea deal for the "least culpable" defendant, in exchange for their testimony against the other participants of the crime. They do this in order to have a higher probability of conviction against the other participants.
CRAZY FACT: Prior to Holly's case, Jason had a previous conviction of "possession of a firearm" (NOT including his December 2020 arrest for the same charge, for which he was charged on both federal & state levels, and is facing up to 20 years in prison for). He received a LONGER prison sentence on that single charge, (100 months to be exact), than the prison sentence he received (96 months) for the kidnapping, rape & murder of Holly. Our justice system is so backward.

I am absolutely obsessed with all true crime, and this case is one of the few that left me feeling uneasy...
despite the way the case “ended” in the courts, I do not feel it was accurate, the case most definitely was not “solved”...

I used to read true crime books but stopped years ago when the green river killer book upset me so badly I stopped reading true crime about 15 years ago and for that Manny years. I gave you guys a chance and I just love you guys. You are so down to earth and fun you feel like friends I've had over the years. Love and prayers, having a lot of fun, Darren from Santa Cruz, CA. The brother was awakened by the scream and what he described as ‘arguing’ coming from the garage. He looked out of the window blinds to see Holly walking away, calling his mother-who caught on right away, telling him to get a rifle and shoot the man--I think he just sounds like not the brightest light on the tree. I can’t imagine either living with my own stupidity or as the mom, dealing with her own anger and helplessness.

It's all still odd. In camo with a small caliber revolver pistol instead of hunting rifle, randomly walking into a backyard and kidnapping a woman, then back into the woods around 7:45 AM? That makes no sense unless it was planned out. Adult brother stays home while kidnapper with sister in woods? Makes no sense. What's worse, PD, Sheriff DP, FBI and SWAT cannot organize for immediate search. Makes no sense...
