An inept organization like Lions can't afford to squander two consecutive chances at SB and expect a third time anytime soon. As Buffalo or Minnesota how that works out?
Historically, yes, the Lions have been inept. But luckily, the only thing that matters is the present. And presently there is nothing inept about this administration. Holmes and Campbell (with the support of Sheila) have shown nothing short of excellence. The foundation is solid.
Look, I’m happy that both coordinators are leaving. They could never have their side of the ball dialed in the whole season. After analyzing this season deeply I saw that both BJ and AG lost 7 games each for the this year. The Lions were lucky enough that none of those bad performances showed up at the same time during the regular season resulting in only 2 official losses. Unfortunately, they both put on losing performances in that divisional game and it finally reared its ugly head.

Whoever it will be, it won’t be trick play Charlie
What's everyone going to think when they come out the gate better than ever next season? Are you all still going to praise BJ like a god when an entire new group of coaches comes in and drives this team to another record season without losing a beat??
I can’t stand the Lions’ current defensive scheme. I’d be happy to see a totally new mind come aboard and change Dan’s obsession with the Saints’ model that seems to rely on lenient officiating and suspect QBs that can’t handle chaos.
Ben won't be Ben in Chicago. He won't have the guys to block like he did in Detroit. I worked so well because of the guys they brought in. They were all team first and wanted each other to excel.
Jared will never win a super bowl until we have a top 10 defense, so that needs to be the strategy in my opinion
Jeff, give it a break. We wony have a top 5 offense, but we'll get a top 10 offense BUT give it to GIBBS ON 3RD AND 1. And I'm fine with that trade-off. Get off Ben's jockstrap
Why wont we have 5 top offense? It might get better next year. Our players are only developing more
A top 15 defense would make it so that the offense doesn't need to be top 5
@@noorzanayasmin7806better lol they were the best not many teams had a offense like the lions most probably will never have that type of offense production again. That type of offense that was better than good it's was the best in decades for the NFL. Replicating that is impossible but being top 5 is more realistic or top 10
@@noorzanayasmin7806 Yea, who can guarantee we don't have a top 5 offense again?
I been Lions follower for 68 years and based on my observation and history, the Lions regression and decline in prosperity shall be rapid and steep.
It's going to come out that Ben Johnson took that job just to show the world that he's the reason Detroit turned around. Not Dan Campbell
@@OfficerMcLovin doubt it
Jim O'Neill is the defensive coordinator period. In fact this hole season Jim coached the defense. Aaron Glenn was never that consistent. 15-2 with Aaron Glenn? No way in hell.Jim O?Niel was Cleveland's DC as good as their defense was under him.
Yeah he the defensive assistant I wouldn't be surprised and help Glenn
He ripped off MCDC’s speech (reference to “sleeping giant”)😮 He will rip off some plays, coaches and players too - good Luck Benedict Arnold!!!
It’s called “X” NOT twitter…!!!
The problem with a guy like Saleh you most likely renting him for 1 year. He wants another shot at HC .
Don’t forget qb. Goff had 5 turnovers in his last 2 games in important games he choked. Don’t blame the defense all the way the defense bailed goof 2 interceptions in Vikings game. Could nt bail his 3 interceptions in commanders game
Arron glenn cannot take anyone under contract to the Lions.
😂😅😅😆🫢🤫
Got 2 rookie coordinators lol
It’s a lot of ppl that discredit players in all sports I kind of get it but it also just hating
I hope not. We don't need another offseason shadowed with doubt and questionables like that. One and done for the best run offense vs the worst run defense is twisted. And then the news that came out about Ben and the Bears.. we need someone that stays and are experienced
Ben was great but he had flaws and he had a lot of talent ! But had moments where he would pass the ball a whole half and just give up on running!
