this was honestly so scary but i loved doing it!! please forgive me for my mistakes i still have a lot a lot to learn hehe 💗
i love you all!!
You are great at consistently learning languages. It doesn't matter if it's wrong or right, the most important thing is having the courage to say it. Good job! 💙
ah thank you do muchhh 💗 it means the world
So good! My tip would be that saying « très excité » does not mean excited..it means excited sexually lol so instead you could say « j’attends avec impatience » to essentially say you’re excited/can’t wait
I am French and I confirm that we can say that we are excited by a project or something we can't wait to do or something we really want to see etc...
tu parles très bien français ! on te comprend facilement :) proud of uuu keep going
ahh merci 🥹 gros bisous
I don't understand a word of French but it all sounded beautiful to me 😂so amazing that you did this - I am also learning Dutch and Portuguese and it is terrifying to speak in a different language in front of people. So cute how David looks so proud of you when you're speaking French too! 🥰
it's literally soooo scary but I just know that when people try to speak dutch to me I love the fact that they are trying and it's normal to make mistakes so I just keep that in mind when I'm speaking French
@@iriswellen 💛💛
Hello.Where are you from?

Thank you for sharing pieces of your life, it’s so inspiring 💕💕💕
I don't speak French, I only know a few words and phrases but it sounded amazing, well done Iris 👏 I'm currently improving my German and I also speak English & Greek. I feel like it's nice speaking more than one language and it's never too late to start learning. Beautiful vlog ❤
for sureee! that’s also very impressive! and i agree, learning a new language is so much fun 💗
Merci de me faire voyager à Paris.
omg merci!! ❤️🥹
im currently learning korean and you just gave me a really good idea on how i can practice further ✨i vlog too and this type of video seems like something that would be helpful for any language learner. thank you! i loved your video 🤍 subscribed!!!
hi! would you mind sharing what kind of books or resources you’re using to learn korean? also, do you have any tips for beginners?
Bravo pour ton français! Woooow! Tu parles vraiment bien! 👏👏👏
aww merci 💗🥹
sexuellement
2) les Français sont par définition blasés ;)
À la place, tu peux dire :
1) Pour montrer que tu es content(e)
● C’est génial / super !
2) Pour dire “exciting”
● C’est un film passionnant / palpitant.
So cool watching you vlogging in French!! I’m French and I learn Dutch, I’ve also loved your videos for a long time now:) Bon voyage en France🧡
thank you aahh it means the world ❤️
ahh merci gros bisous🥹💗
such an awesome idea for a video! i find that i gain the most fluency when speaking and writing a journal in the language i'm learning. and paris in your camera looks lovely x
thank u so much!! and i totally know what you mean i actually journal in english everyday even though dutch is my first language!!
Amazing!! The only tip is to make the writing of the transcription bigger because it is really hard to read. Maybe black or with a background color!
awww gros bisous💗
Franchement tu te débrouilles vraiment bien !! :) you can be proud of uuu
ahhh merci 🥹
Yayyy!! Finally Finally Iris you came with this vlog because I was eagerly eagerly waiting for this vlog you are my inspiration and I wish you have a best day💫💗🙂
omg thank u it means so much to me!! sending u loveeee
just a piece of advice, don't say "je suis excitée" when u wanna say I'm exhausted cause it has another meaning, instead try u can say "je suis enthusiaste" or "j'ai hâte". NIce video btw, I'm really impressed how good ur french is.
as a French people living in Paris, your French is incredibly good ?? I didn't think it turns out that well lol
You speak very well in french , bravo 👏🏼 enjoy in my country ❤
Love this Iris. I'm also trying to speak English. Your video motivated me to speak another language. I love watching you
awww much love for u!!
Funny to see you speak french when I am french and started following you when i moved to Nijmegen 2 years ago :)
PS: your french is great great job!! (waayyy better than my dutch hehehe)
omg thank u!! & i love that aahh full circle moment hehe
You sound like a local!
Brilliant!
❤️
Love this ❤
thank u aaaah
aaah merci 🥹💗
please do more french videosss
J'aime regarder votre vidéo !
BONJOUR AUSSI NOTRE COEUR GLORIEUX PARIS BIENVENUE
Wow you speaking French that good
thank you aaww🥹
I loved this! So inspiring and very helpful as I’m learning French too at the moment. Thank you 🙏🏼
Woohoo!! Klinkt goed Iris, très bien 🌞
🥹💗
love this video!!💗
thank you!!💗
Je veux dire que le mot “excitée” est normalement utilisé pour citer que tu est « horny » so try to use another one to express that you are eagerly
Does anyone know what font is on the cover of the video?
Your subtitle is hard to read. Why did you choose yellow.
Cause she’s a sleep walker and when she edited the video she was actually asleep, it’s the only reason I can think of
Impressive!😊Being a polyglot certainly makes life more interesting, est-ce vrai? From my own travels, I find Europeans are far better at learning other European languages, especially the Dutch who are so good, than those who are from North America; but of course, this is just from my own observations/experience. My good friend from Norway speaks four languages.
ahh thank you so much! i think it’s because in Europe we are exposed to more languages when we go on holidays so we already pick up things when we are younger! we also get french, german and english in highschool here 😊
@@iriswellen I hear you about the language curriculum there and am sure German is easy for you as it's related to Dutch, not to mention you have a gift for languages.🙂I did my German studies at Goethe-Institut in Germany (Level B2).
when learning French did you struggle with certain things like example "qu'est-ce que c'est" which although translates to 'what is this' but if you translated it word for word it does not = what is this. in English. things like that are making me unsure of whether to choose French or German at university next week. i learn German easily but i think i want to move to France after i graduate so feel like even though it's really difficult, I should choose it. x
Fantastique ❤
Your figure is so neat and trim!
That’s why you can wear anything successfully!
😃
Hello hello hello hello
ton français est vraiment incroyable!!! tu as tellement pas d’accent :)
For some reason París suits you so well!!!! NL is one of the best countrues to live in but your home will always be there….why not try Paris? 🥐
Greetings from Amsterdam!
omg yes i love paris and it’s actually something i’m sorting out atm 👀
what camera do you use to film?
Exemple avocat, on dit avoca, endroit, on dit endroi.
3:38 When she said "Je suis excité" 😂😂😂 - same mistake I made when started speaking French, bc it means sexual excitement.
❤
Can you prepare for Delf C1 through Lingoda? And how much did it take for you to get to this level?
i don’t know much about the Delf test so i’m not sure… i think it can definitely help but the level goes til b2 i think. I had french in high school so i already knew the basics for grammer etc. but the past 2/3 months i’ve really been taking classes consistently and it made a huge difference!
this is so cool. you sound great. i'm learning too! only thing I really noticed is "je suis tres excitee" basically translates to "im really horny" lol It was a mistake I made off the bat. my teacher taught me to say "j'ai hâte"

i’ve had french in high school so i already had the basics .. but i’ve been taking language classes with lingoda for about 1,5 years and that truly improved my french so much!

2:20 Are you Dutch? I ask because of how you pronounced that brand name. It sounded super Dutch to me.
Everything else sounded so French to me, btw. :D
yesss i am dutch :)
One thing I don't understand. You're from Netherlands, and you're speaking French. Does Dutch also speak French. And do you know English
First of all ur English is awful 😶. And People from Netherlands do not speak Francais, well they might know a word or too, especially greetings. And both the civilians of Netherlands and france, know how to speak in English. Well it'll be much more accurate if I say the gen z knows how to speak in English. Well it's not a problem as in France, in the shops and restaurants the people speak in English, well the restaurant owners hire such PPL who are fluent in English. It's because of American tourist's affluence who are English speakers.
Learning never ends and I admire you for always trying new things to learn languages!
You and David are such a charming couple 🥰 Is he also an introvert?
Also i enjoyed this vlog and i’m looking forward to next one(hopefully in Dutch🤪)

❤ Bonjour Iris!! 🥰❤
gros bisous 🥹💗
i think excitee means horny in french
lmao hahahah well i meant i’m excited
@@iriswellen everyone makes this mistake in the beginning, its very funny ahaha. I'm excited for sth = j'ai hate de
I love hearing you speak french and I hope you make another video speaking it 😊☀️
