Just to clarify for everyone, we made a mistake in the video (I know :P) Immunity isnt applied to the specific traits, "Stunned" and "Non Lethal". This means that E/M ammo would have it ammo type turned to Normal and then the Non Lethal trait would render it useless meaning that anything with Immunity BTS or Immunity Enhanced isnt affected by Non Lethal E/M weapons. They are still affected by Stun, Para and all Comms attacks unless the Immunity specifies that state. Ect, Immunity (Imm-B). Sorry for the mix up, hopefully you can forgive us :P
I never understood why they didn't make the Limited Insertion thing a core rule. I would love to play just one order group if it can't lose it's orders. Even if it's still not the most optimal way.
@lossoflieutenant1886 true enough, much like getting healed and in the middle of a firefight you immediately stand up. Obviously you stand up. You should have a choice. Missed opportunity.
The changes to D-charges and pistols in CC are great. No longer does random engineers have a better CCW than almost all dedicated CC units nor is a random guy with +B pistols equal or better in CC than a dedicated CC specialist (who pays a lot more for their skills). There's also a small change to Guts that you missed. You now check LoS at the time of the guts check instead of counting LoS for the entire order. And if no LoS just drop prone.
The thing that I (and I assume most people) absolutely hate about speedball is actually the switch-on option. It's already hard enough to stop a Seraph (or a Redeye or a Bultrak, etc.) from 8/8 or 6/6 hopping into your DZ turn 1. Ignoring the first Oblivion or whatnot is just disgusting. You're probably only ever GETTING one shot at stopping it, the get-out-of-jail-free card is just too much.
@@user-doubletime Hm, I expected that this is the answer. It's a bit overengineered to have two sets of rules with different wording and also execution and all ... when the only practical outcome is "one can be chained behind another". both cost a long skill, they do essentially the same. I mean, there has to be more?
@@enjoynocturne Think about the difference between jump and climb in real world. You can jump over a small gap in Infinity as you do in real world. You can climb down and up the gap but that is different from jumping over it.
Jump and Climb in N4 had quite a difference. Climbing + used to just make vertical movement count as horizontal. So you could move/move and go up walls really easily. Super Jump was your first move value but you measured from the top of your base, and if you finished on the side of a building you could only declare climb to get off of it. This edition, Climb has been gutted so you need to be touching the surface you want to climb to declare it. Jump has been buffed with a base 6" and sometimes 8" on both move values.

You rush and drop prone in combat, makes perfect sense.
Thematically yes, its just quite a difference from the current rules and probably needs an faq to clarify

I mean the whole “i’m up they see me i’m down” saying is what they are going for.
