My intentions was to show transparency on what happened to me when I purchased the PSM and to be open with my viewers. I did not mean to bring controversy or offend anyone. If I did, I sincerely apologize.
I’ve made purchases in the past where I wish people would show me more details of their bags so I would know what to look for or look out for. Therefore, I made this to show my true thoughts and findings. I would hate for this to happen to someone else especially if they have been longing for the purse for so long and finally got their hands on it just to find problems instead of feeling pure joy. I have contacted LV about the defects on the bag and hope they would fix the issue so that this won’t happen again or to anyone. LV is my favorite luxury house and I still plan to make more purchases in the future.

Omg I can’t believe they glued the bag on the reverse! I just went to take a look at mine and it’s not glued whatsoever. Good thing you caught that. I hope you found the perfect one for you
I just returned 2 reverse monogram PSM’s. Not for the same quality issues as yours though. I ended up just exchanging for the original monogram. I feel like it was a sign.

I completely agree! Although this video is controversial in some eyes, I felt that consumers need to be careful and know that not ever designer bag is perfectly made.

Omg, the same thing happened with me this past week!... Not the exact same situation, but quality control! I ordered mine online and there was a scratch on the leather and pea size bubble in the front of the bag and you can feel it inside of the seams of the bag once you open it... when I went in to return it even the staff looked at it weird and said it was going to be placed in a different section of returns, obviously cause quality control was the issue...I was lucky enough to find another bag locally but I inspected it like crazy in store haha... I don’t think I’ll ever buy another luxury bag online... Just to avoid this situation again 🤷🏻♀️
Oh wow! I’m sorry that happened to you. Its crazy how these bags are bypassing quality control. I’ve learned that we ourselves have to be our own quality control (even though this shouldn’t happen) to make sure we get what we paid for. But I’m glad you were able to find another one in store! I would’ve done the same thing you did 😂
I actually just recently had to return TWO different monogram PSMs. One had a film peeling off of the canvas, and the replacement's logo stamp wasn't even legible. They told me it just depends on who does the stamp. So now i'm waiting for them to get another one in so I can finally get my PSM. Ugh
Hi Jean! I understand your frustration. These bags are super hard to get in the first place and when you receive one, it’s just so disappointing to find defects that’s not tolerable and having to return it. I can’t even say it’s shocking that it’s happening again. When I was naive about purchasing luxury items, I thought everything will be in perfect condition bc you pay for perfect but it’s not the case based on experience and learning from others. That’s why I always inspect my purses inside and out to justify the purchase. If it doesn’t show it’s worth, I return it. I really hope they find you a PSM in excellent condition!! I too would love to have one one day ❤️

LV doesn’t care to address their quality issue because they know people will always buy their bag even with the knowledge of their quality issues and recalls in the past 10+ years, and that says something about how stupid the luxury community is.

I can feel you doll. Because I have a palm springs mini in the reverses after starting using about 1 month i notice the both Corner starting to peeling off the LV flower, Louis Vuitton quality right now is not like before they always have an issue also i have a problem about 3 month ago i bring my trevi pm Damier Ebene to the repair because of the 20 canvas Cracking and they told me that is not an quality issue because of the bags 7year old so i decided to talk with the repair manager about my problem she said will try to sand back to the repair center for asking exchange but after is 3 and a 1/2 month i get a phone call from them she will sand my bags to my home address and after i Receive my bags i Realize my bags have a lot of Damage because when I sand it to the repair is not like that, I'm disappointed with the quality and service,
Hey girly! I am so sorry that happened to you. That is why I wanted to share this video to show that this can happen to anyone and each person has their own stories on their experiences with LV. It’s so sad that we finally get our hands on our dream bag and there’s quality issues that’s out of our control. I hope they can correct the issues for you and not give you such a headache. These bags should last a very long time especially if we take good care of it but unfortunately that’s not the case.

Hi there! 👋🏼 I don’t believe it’s fake, just slipped through quality control. I did email LV and selected defective on my return option. The return was successful but I hope they were able to re-evaluate the bag and see the defects. That was BY FAR the worst that I’ve seen on a new bag. The mono seemed like it wasn’t glued and sewn in correctly. I just wish that was the reverse so I could have kept it 😭 I’m glad your new version was in good shape!!

Hey girly! I returned the monogram because I realized I liked the reverse mono more. Despite the slight misalignment in the front pocket area, everything else looked pretty well done overall on the mono. I have done a first impressions video on the two if you want more details!

I have this bag and I take very good care of it , I have it almost 4 years and recently noticed threads coming out and peeling on the canvas ... which is not supposed to happen with a luxury bag ... I am so disappointed .. I went to the Louis Vuitton store and they say they can’t do anything about it .. but will check with the quality department and get back to me only after I insisted that this is not right the quality of their bags is at the same level of a replica . I am a Louis Vuitton bag lover but after this I honestly am reconsidering this brand, you spend so much money and expect the best quality and unfortunately don’t get that.
I understand the way you feel. That’s how I felt after noticing these issues a week after buying the bags. I haven’t even used it yet but they will blame it on wear and tear if I showed them months later. I hope they make it right for you. Maybe try another store and see if they can give you a replacement? I’ve seen people rave about how long these bags can last without any issues but I now know not every bag is made with the same quality control.
I can’t believe it’s actually glued ! You know I ran to check mine lol , I didn’t check my previous old version that was made in USA ,the 1 I have no is a Made In France and I def don’t see any glue around the edges and mine is nice and flat , so no bumps like you showed on the reverse , you can tell the mono was made better it looks nice and flat . For $2,000 you would think they would be better quality . I have been purchasing LV since my very first purchase in 2001 and I can tell you first hand the quality has certainly declined over the years . I just purchased the Palm Springs pm in the limited edition infarouge (black & red canvas) and there is such a difference in the canvas compared to my Palm Springs mini (regular mono) it’s even different from my Palm Springs pm in reverse , it has like an extra coating that makes it super shiny . So hard to explain but if you know their canvas , you will understand ! Sad that their quality today is so poor , it makes me not want to make anymore new purchases that’s for sure ! Yes I know!! I also did what you did lol! After noticing this, I pulled my other bags and checked the lining inside to see if it looked like this but they all looked sewn on. I’ve only starting collecting around 2018 but I totally believe you in saying that the quality and canvas has changed over the years! I have heard many people tell me the same thing! LV bags have always made my heart sing so I still want to grow my collection despite what I have found. Based on this experience, I’ll just stick with in store purchases from now on so I can feel and analyze the bag with my SA! I never planned to discourage anyone from purchasing LV. These bags make me so happy and I want others to feel happy too!

Lux Obsession yesss girl I have experienced their poor quality issues first hand.... my original pochette Métis had major glazing issues and also not 1 but 2 mini backpacks experienced issues , prior to the new model mini I have now . I still love LV too, they have always been my favorite but it’s def made me pull back a little from buying as much as I used to , I feel like they have a lot of nerve raising prices while the quality is not up to par . I have older bags that I would have never thought to even have to check , because you can feel the quality in them , bags like my tivoli gm , my Petit Noe , the canvas was thicker , it just feels like the canvas today is missing something and while I still love LV and it will probably never truly stop me from buying , I’m just more cautious . Online isn’t bad because you can always return it if your not happy. In store buying doesn’t mean the pieces are going to be made any better , you just get to inspect them before you shell out your money ahead of time ! ❤️❤️ People will continue to buy LV like they always have , even with their increases , they are still more attainable for most people compared to Chanel or Hermès ! Lee Lee LV Girl I have heard sooo many horror stories with the canvas pochette Métis and I still really want the reverse version anyway lol (Loved your comparison w/st cloud btw😁) I was tempted to buy the mono version that I saw in-store months ago but I held back cuz I saw creases on the handle and figured my heart wouldn’t be able to deal with the possible glazing issues on top of that so I resisted! But you are right! Buying instore doesn’t mean it’s better! My mind was just wrapped around my recent online purchase. I’ll give it another shot in the future when I see something I really like! I still want to find the perfect reverse PSM tho 💕 I absolutely love chatting with you about our experiences! People should know what goes on!
Lux Obsession I totally love chatting with you too , I have not had any issues with my pochette Métis in reverse but I did have nightmare issues with my original mono version pochette Métis , took 5 months total for the correct repairs to be made and by the time I got it back , I didn’t want to use the bag anymore , took 2 years before I decided to repurchase it in the reverse canvas and I can tell the glazing issue was fixed , it even had a different feel to it , more smooth not as rubbery of a feeling , I think I gravitate towards the backpacks because they have less glazing , I never had any issues with my reverse Palm Springs mini , I just felt I didn’t need 2 minis ,then at 1 time I felt a mini backpack was ridiculous once I found out I was going to be a grandma ! I got over that feeling because I really loved the mono PSM , so I decided to buy it again 2 years later , I started to have issues with the old model version 3 months into using it , the peeling and flaking became so bad the edges were turning a whitish color . A problem that has totally been fixed on the new version mini for sure ! It’s so weird cause I prefer the old version of the Palm Springs pm but I prefer the new version when it comes to the mini , it’s almost as if both of my Pm backpacks seem to have an extra coating that my new mini just doesn’t have ! I’ve had both excellent and bad experiences with LV ,sometimes I think it’s like the luck of the draw when it comes to LV lately ! I hope you find your perfect reverse PSM ! The glue is definitely something I’ve never seen or heard of before , most likely the issue of from someone who messed up during production and tried to cover it up by gluing it ! ❤️❤️😘😘
Lee Lee LV Wow five months to repair?! That would stress me out lol I love the way the reverse PM looks and the fact that there’s no vachetta! And I’ve been into the PSM line so much too! So sad that I got the one I got. There’s definitely a mistake in the production line for sure!! I have never seen anything like that and shocked it made it through quality control! I’ve seen the issues you’re talking about the peeling around the lip of the zipper with the older model. It’s so heart breaking to love a bag so much and have issues only 3 months in!!! Especially when they costs so much lol! I’m in the same boat as you with the hit or miss with LV. But it’s still my favorite brand and I plan to make more videos of them 😁

Taylor’s Handbag Talk my speedy is a few years old, but it was made in the USA. I havent found a flaw with the bag. Although, I had the 6 ring key holder in the graphite and I had to return it and get a new one because the glaze where you open, was peeling and cracking. I said to my SA I was like this is unacceptable. The quality is getting worse and the prices keep going up. I have an Alma BB that I bought in 2016 the quality was a lot better. A lot of people have been complaining about the quality of LV and even Chanel.
From what I hear is the LV wants to have his bags made in China. Like people only do that is to make more money in profit. So if you’re gonna charge 2k for a bag make it look like it’s 2k. Not make it look like it’s a replica.

It’s all up to you 🤗 I personally love using the PSM. If you are hesitant, do more research and watch more TH-cam videos so that you can weigh the pros and cons
LOL.. I'm sorry, but I could never understand why people are still buying these crappy bags from Louis Vuitton when clearly there are claims of never ending issues all over TH-cam. Stop buying these worthless bags and you'll save yourself the hassle.
