    Thanks for the video. We have found with our Westinghouse portable units (we have a single and a double) that under 1000w they just cycle the induction coil on and off. I wonder if the ones you have tried are different?

      Thank you. They all work the same that is what induction does it turns itself on and that's what makes them work.

      @@TheOffGridShop thanks. I was more referring to the ability for a particular unit to run its induction coil at lower powers. For example setting yours to 100W does not mean it is limited to 100W, it will likely be pulling 1000W on a limited duty cycle, averaging 100W over time. That’s a big difference for those that want to run one off low current or with low batteries as you suggest.

      Would all depend on where your based. I have had some Nuwave ones I really liked.
