No one has energy the way Billie Joe does live . It’s no wonder they were one of the first bands that got me into punk rock (way before I knew what a Dookie was ) . Most of everyone else since has put me to sleep performance wise . No one really engages the audience. I highly recommend the documentary on the making of the American Idiot Musical .
