Suppose I have a rule: If Service is good and Food is delicious then Tip is generous. My antecedent has 2 inputs (service and food) which are in 2 different universe of discourse, then how can those 2 fuzzy sets are connected within one rule? Is the connection the same as those fuzzy sets which are in the same in universe of discourse? Or both Service and Food are in the same universe of discourse? Thank you

We will be releasing a video on a solved example based on fuzzy control systems this Friday. I hope you will be able to understand the concept and clear your doubt after watching it! :)

There are many MATLAB toolboxes which are really helpful. Please check out the documentation in mathworks website :)

      Hi Ashish,
The general reference book is Fuzzy Logic by Timothy Ross.
However, if I remember correctly, this video was made after going through several reference materials which I do not recall currently :)

No one has explained why bother? Fuzzy logic is far to complicated for what it does. A PID requires 3 multiplies and adds at runtime. It is easy to CALCULATE the closed loop gains. After adding feed forwards, PID is much more accurate when properly tuned but there are lots of auto tuning software..
I don't agree at all with her advantages. I wonder what qualifies her to talk about this topic.
