Oh, so they’re driving around the city in a huge armored van. Here I am thinking all this time they were in something more civilian, like a black Chevy Suburban.
I guess it explains why it can take so much punishment before failing. I always thought the same thing and always imagined their car would reach the rendezvous with like 300 bullet holes and broken windows/door but the people inside are miraculously okay lol
We don't slow down around these parts, the afterburners are always on so the enemy will only hear the sound blast as the missiles are already on them. This post was sponsored by the Strike Wyvern, Mig-31 Foxhound and other speedy bois gang.
Listening and looking back to it, the music and lightning of this mission are really atmospheric and immersive. But I never paid enough attention to Labarthe's vehicle and military vehicles pursuing him, it's really good for such a minor object. This whole town could easily be the scenario for a game like BF3, judging by looks alone it's the game that comes to mind but any PS2 and PS3 era shooter would brag about having a city that detailed, just to exemplify how far technology has come.
Honestly the amount of detail for ground objects is amazing. Its especially amazing when considering for any flight game, not just AC, cheaping out on ground detail is a good short cut for both development time and as mentioned for computer resources as if your close enough to appreciate the details of the ground youre usually not long for the world. I think they knew their player base better tho Did you know that you cant collide with the trees, you phase through them
@@Palmtop_User Well, this is the series that made fully functional hitboxes for the Stonehenge guns back in AC4, Stonehenge which also created altitude limitations so players flew low even before Megalith.
@@LuizAlexPhoenix i think the only jank hitbox ive ever seen from these dude was in ace combat assault horizon legacy, the 3ds one (basically just a remake of ac2). The guns of the end game fortress didnt exist so you didnt ram in to them
If you are not causing severe structural damage to vital infrastructure WHILE risking your plane on low altitude and highspeed manouvers meant to instill shock and awe, are you even playing Ace Combat¿
this looks so good, that's unfortunate that in Ac7 the F15 doesn't have ugb. I guess that they wanted the strike falcon to be more used but.. how the hell like the entire strider squadron deal with ground targets with no bombs?

Bruh I though they were just in Ford Transit😂
Probably because when you're cover is blown, there's no more second chances
Even more funny to me is they pulled the sounds from a Nissan 350Z/370Z.
I was thinking they had a normal black van, lol.

When Main Battle Tank start hit the gas as car speed.
i mean, there are battle tanks that can hit 60- 80 km/h.
In San Loma Assault in AC6, I got outpaced by the Marigold cruiser while flying the F-14 just above stall speed
GAS GAS GAS! GOTTA GET THAT PRESIDENT TO HIS TOYOTA COROLLA!
Modern MBTs are capable of 70-100 km/h easily
them car and tank models looks quite detailed tho, which is pretty rare in AC games (ik it's hardware limitations but still)

Seeing the ground vehicle units makes me wish there was a ground game like Ace Combat... And it shall be called: Ground Combat
Tank Ace Combat
I agree
I want a battlefield game to take place in Strangereal. You know what that’s my head canon for 2042
@@khornethebloodgod4155 dont forget that the strangereal map was an Easter Egg in BF4.

Because flying between a bridge dropping cluster munitions where it can frag your plane is how you do it.

There needs to be a boots on the ground follow up to the Ace Combat series especially Skies Unknown
Nice
Ah man, its a van, I thought it was a sedan or a coupe thats a bit too big, I just cant see it very well from the default perspective
Beautiful
How does one make a camera angle like that?
Replay mode, free camera mod and a lot of effort
Very nice cenima.
man would be killed by the explosion shrapnel, ACE COMBAT IS UNREALISTIC
no shit its unrealistic
Thats why we love ace combat
And we love it for that reason
Ah man, the bridge didnt start collapsing after goddamn bombs and missiles hit them and all of those vics?! UNINSTALLLLLLLL
What has realism ever given to us? This twisted reality must be reset!
Cool
