Dain Iskandar Said is a writer and director from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, who has a passion for cinema and storytelling. He obtained his degree in Film and Photography from the University of Westminster in London in 1990, and since then he has been involved in various projects ranging from short films, television programmes, commercials, media installations and documentaries.

He has a diverse portfolio of work, ranging from short films, television programmes, commercials, media installations and documentaries. His first feature film, Dukun, was made in 2006, but it was banned by the authorities and never released to the public. His second feature film, Return to Murder, premiered at the International Film Festival Rotterdam in 2012.
