The Best of the Best.
Passola vespa girl, back in late 70s.
I used to teach her two children Jasmine and Ashwin in primary school at SK Sri Kelana 😊
This is literally one big joke - and I don't mean this as a pun. On the one hand, we have this channel interview real luminaries like Karu Selvaratnam and the likes of Marina Chin. On the other, we have someone like Douglas who's relatively a chicko who hasn't the barest gravitas to be sharing the stage with the other two giants I just mentioned. I just can't see where this clown fits in.
I remember you my Dear Dato Marina Chin, I was your fan . I was in my teens❤❤
Me too from Sungkai We are proud of you sir. Your younger brother Rajendran was my classmate.
I started watching these two legends, Arumugam, Mokhtar and gangs playing when I started playing football...the usual legendary Selangor team, also watched them played for PKNS and MCIS. Those were the days we get to beat South Korea, Japan, Cameroon, Senegal with regular intervals. Those were the legendary times and these two + Spiderman were at their very best
I wonder if Karu had ever met or heard of Balwant Singh Sidhu, who was from Kuala Lipis then moved on to Seremban. After schooling, Balwant Singh joined the Army (in the Fifties)and retired as a Major, then emigrated to Perth, Australia. Balwant was a well known and exceptional school and national athlete and held records in the long distance events. He died just over a year ago.
First of all, some typo correction: the blue house that Kari refers to should be spelt as "Tagore", not "Tagoh". It's either named after an alumnus, an illuminary, of ACS Ipoh or the famous Indian poet, Rabindranath Tagore.
dato ur has inspired the young athelete
Mr.bengguan, you are changing the story this is not the spider story 😂 this is about the cat, the best alleycat in malaysia😂
You and Tajudin give me hope❤
The most beautiful and famous Msian womens athlete in those days...
Me & other Malaysian friends visited her home in Columbus, Ohio, US in early 1980s. She was studying there & living with fellow Malaysians..
Di mana anak2 marina, tidak kan mengikut jejak marina sbg ahli sukan olahraga....??
God Almighty is the answer and not smoking or coffee or whatever.
Thank you for contributing to the Arts in Malaysia and Asia. So beautiful ❤️❤️❤️
That minister who said Tiger show is also Seni tells you what some of our ministers are!!! End of story.. we can see now
A very good insight into Malaysian life and history of the places in KL and Penang.
Apparently these two great footballers/defenders can’t be separated from the playing field right up to this interview! It will be more interesting if the interviewer let each one of them narrate their childhood memories to their heart content as not only young viewers are interested to know more about the family background but senior citizens who grew up watching them play didn’t know much except the duo playing career representing the nation.
Datin...She's just a wonderful person...a legend who helped people silently. A humble being. I really admire her. Wonderful to know a true Datin ❤❤❤

Hello...No time no see this Sentul Convent Girl was our Country Proudest Product as most Beautiful Track Queen of the 70s...Glad to see you are doing well and still beautiful...Grace beautifully as she aged....
This feedback is for the creators of the living history project. The errors in subtitling the words spoken, takes a lot of the impact out of the content. Hence for those who don't have a Malaysian background, they will not understand what was spoken
I’m a Singaporean female football fan,and to me both of them are legends. 🥰🥰
Has he suffered a stroke cause his speech is slurred
a big factor why Malaysia were so successful those days was simply the teams are multi racial ..believe it!
She went to Ohio State University, Columbus
Kite nk tgk isu rakyat diperjuangkan...bukan hal2 remeh temeh camni...aishhhh...Besut nih xder point lain ke?
Your subtitles are not correct.
Our lives were blessed to have witnessed these players play in their prime
Truely Malaysian team
The subtitles are atrocious.

Nice to see you in the video. I was a BIG FAN of yours during youth era in the 70s. Never missed any of the events you took part at Merdeka Stadium. Hope u remain healthy & conyr retirement with yr husband. Yes, this country needs to be ONE MALAYSIA👏👏👏
this is Alley Cats singer not a goalkeeper.. 🤩✌️ #both of them got same name and also the legend ♥️✌️.. 🙏🙏

Carmen's Inn is in Merlin Hotel..those days we used to smoke pot opposite the hotel padang b4 going inside the disco..they used to play Deep Purple songs alot..those were the good old days...😢

The LEGENDS OF MALAYSIAN FOOTBALL.
Can't find players like them now
Now it is hard to get a house near a football field. All area are fully builded. Childrens nowaday playing on the roads. Stupid politicians had took over Malaysia football. Like a Menteri Besar who don't know about football becomes the Manager of the state team. PM4 was the one who spoilted Malaysia football.
A women I always respect since my early day in the middle 70' God Bless you sister stay strong n healthy.
He was know as the 'spiderman' because he seemed to have many arms. It was hard to get through this goalkeeper. He was and is the best so far, along with the likes of Moktar (Supermoth) Dahari as striker, Soh Chin Aun as central defender, Santokh Singh as midfielder and the many others. That was the best Malaysian team ever! Love and respect. ❤❤
My dear friend, I think you’ve got the wrong person. The person you’re referring to is a footballer, a goalkeeper R.Arumugam who is also known as spiderman. He passed away in 1988. The person in the video is Dato David Arumugam a singer from the band Alleycats. 😁
yup absolutely.. this dato' david is a singer.. not A. arumugam that keeper of Harimau Malaya. 🤩
Apa yg tinggal ia lah kenangan hidup yg penuh dgn kemanisan dan kepahitan yg kemewahan tak dapat diganti...terima kasih ALLAH kerana memberi kesempatan utk hidup dgn penuh pengalaman hidup.
