It was 19 degrees this morning when I went and Iine was freezing up. This year brings back to the first day I started crappie fishing. It’s been a rough crappie year for me.

My buddy Richard Gene, you've done another fantastic job with the video. Also this video was very convenient for me because I was in the process of utilizing a variety of jigs to catch some slabs myself. I'm going to utilize more of the "refrigerator white" (yellow/white) jigs for the muddy water like you were using in this video. Lately, the Crappies have not been biting here in Shreveport, LA at some of my locations but I will not give up attempting to locate them. Two weeks ago, I caught 10 and they ranged from 9-13 5/8 inches. I appreciate the motivation from you. Keep'em coming my friend......Oorah

We currently live in South Alabama, but planning a move to Guntersville hopefully in the next year or 2 would love to meet you! I don't want to sound stupid, because you make it look so easy fishing from the bank, but I do have a serious question for you. When you make your cast, do you let the jig go all the way to the bottom or what? I tried what you're doing and I get snagged all the time. Please tell me what am I doing wrong. Willie D.
I try to stay off the bottom. I figure out the depth the crappie are and count down a foot a second. I will try to explain it in a upcoming video a little better. Thank you for watching William!
