Good handling and a Great looking boat. I've got my dad's old 15 ft richline aluminum boat. Three hp and a9.5 . It's not in very good condition, plywood seats need replaced completely. Should be a nice week of work. Looking forward to this project.

Richard I’ve got to make sure everything is good on my poontoon boat and you got to come up and go crappie and walleye fishing this time. We’ll get started sometime in April I’m hoping that and fish of a night. Drop lights out and get shad up circling the light and every type fish in that lake is under the shad. Nighttime I like fishing then very few boats at night mostly people fishing for bass. We fish Dale Hollow Lake

A LOT of rain passed thru my area last week. It was 34 degrees @ 10am and clear today. I didn;t take a rod with me but I took a pound of chicken liver. As I tossed it here & there for my fine-finned friends on New Years Eve, 2 smaller bass were gulping down minnows/fry
on the opposite side from a riprap area. I forgot to bring THEM a treat but they found one anyway!

Richard, do you ever fish with metal lures? I like to fish with Kastmasters, Little Cleos and Silver Minnows, Doctor spoons, Daredevils and the like. I'd like to see how you fish these if you use them much. Thanks for the crappie video - our crappie are under very thin ice right now so they're quite safe.

Richard, I think you should try some iron feather braid 5 lb line for these panfish.
I’ve been using it and have nothing bad to say. Stuff casts like a dream, and it is super sensitive.

That’s right bout hanging in there like a hair in a biscuit. I’ve seen the times I’d catch several then it like the bite switch got turned off. They’ll stop bitin for a little while then start right back

West central Wisconsin has zero ice. It's almost new years and all of the lakes are opening back up. Boats are in storage. Haven't wet a line in a while

I'm fishing cold deep strip pots for black Crappie I really need to run this setup Richard. Bite has been super slow and super tough. I'm also restricted to the bank. Thanks for the videos.
Hate that you had to work so hard for it, but it's definitely a solace for folks like myself who are getting back into the sport and experiencing apparent slow fishing or skunks. Since I started in March they are less and less, though! Greetings from Chattanooga 🙌🏻

Kansas fishing has been ruff for 2 weeks. I've been to 3 different lakes and the bite is very very slow. Lakes are up muddy windy and cold. Cats are biting but only 4 small crappie

Love watching your videos. I’m just now starting to really get into Croppie fishing. My problem is they’re so many wild colors. I have no clue what to start out with. I’m sure there’s better for Clearwater or dingy Water sunny or cloudy days. Any help would be appreciated. God bless your family, keep up the good work
I would give you the advice I would give myself starting out. If you don’t want to go out and buy all these crazy colors (like I did 🙄) start out with Bobby Garland Baby Shad in Monkey Milk, MoGlo Monkey Milk and Cajun Cricket. I pair it with a 1/32 jig head. Red, white, black and regular lead are my go to colors. (Regular lead one work just fine)
P.S. my Hail Mary bait, when I just can’t get a bite would be the color Vegas. That’s my secret weapon on those finicky days.
