People like pain because it's what make us alive.
Only the living feel pain , the dead does not.
But this is the tricky part. People who enjoy pain are clinging onto pain as an attachment. They need it because it is the only thing that gives them purpose and meaning.
To seek out pain is similar to a suicidal person who seek out death, to be free from suffering.
There's nothing wrong with pain. In fact, if one can be happy while in pain , then it's even better , but don't actively seek out pain just for the sake of it.
This is where wisdom comes into play. There's a balance in everything

If someone's gonna ask me what's my most favorite thing in the world, I'd say it's rain. There's just something about the rain that makes me feel alive. It is my primary reason why I'm still holding on. I'm afraid that if I die, I won't be able to hear the sound of raindrops ever again. To feel the embrace of the cold water. To smell the scent of the drops as they hit the ground.
The rain is melancholic and I love it that way.
Exactly. There is some special connection with the rain which is beyond the explaination of words. Rain is melancholic and it resonates with the unexplained and unexpressed melancholy buried deep down in the human heart. That is why we feel so special with the raindrops.
You know... The sound of rain sounds very calming and soothing... But as calming as it is it becomes cold... And thats when the sun shows up to show you a bright and joyful day... So even if it rains or shines theres always a comfy feeling everytime the weather changes

When my cat dies I will come back to this song and listen... Since my cat is very sick I feel she will die soon. I'm going to cry but every time I cry I will listen to this song. I'm sure that I will get through my cat dying as long as I listen to this song and remember that she is in a better place... They’re was once a girl. A wonderful girl that I loved with all of my heart. She had white hair. Blue eyes and had a voice of an angel. Her favourite clothes where a white shirt, red skirt and a red tie.We had a childhood together and she was like my best friend. We often got teased about it in second grade up to seventh grade. We first met when we were 6 years old and we had similar interests, we both loved drawing and strangely enough, that’s how we became close friends. It started when we were about 12, i noticed it. Often she would have a sort of blush when we were alone together. And i was 14 when she started to sit even closer next to me than usual and gave me a smile I could never forget. It was the time we were 19 and it was a rainy dark night when we came back from the movies. There was pink trees surrounding us as beautiful pink leaves fell from the trees. As she was holding the umbrella and our bag, She gave that glance. That one glance. That glance that makes you have the one feeling. That feeling you get when you feel proud of yourself. And she said to me... “I.. I got some news.” I asked about it and she said she her family was moving across the country. I felt that deep cold feeling. I shivered and I looked down in sadness. I asked her when “When are you coming back?” And she wasn’t sure. It could be a year, 5 years or even 10 years. And then I realized... the possibility of never seeing her again. And she said, “it will be ok” as she lift my head back up to her. That glance she gave me stared into my eyes and it was so beautiful. She gave me her recording of her beautiful piano song she said “keep it, let it be a reminder of me.. for you.” As I walked her down to her house she said “I’m scared..” I asked why? And she replied “What of I’ll never see you again?”, I put my hand on her cheek and my other around her waist, and tears ran down my face. And as she had tears running down her face and as she put her wrists on my shoulders... we shared our first... and possibly final kiss. Those two minutes of my life I will never forget. Those pink trees, the rain, the dark and her. She will be a unforgettable piece of my heart and my life. It has been a year since. And I have not heard of her. The song and the piano remind me of her. Ive drawn an art of how I remember her. And I’ve learnt a lesson of life:
love hurts, love is love, love... is life. There’s no where else we could be in the world without someone to love us.

To talk about your insecurity to someone is to give ur biggest trust to them. Finding one isn’t easy.
They may judge u, saying u are being so weak and disgraceful for what u have.
One may be the one that so near to you, you share ur heart, ur story to them.
But that doesn’t make them, understand ur pain.
It nobody’s fault. If isn’t meant to be, it won’t be.
Different person, different perspective, different tolerance to pain, different way to approach problem.
One thing for sure, you shouldn’t judge someone for what they are. You don’t know their story, you don’t know they’re past, you don’t know how they’re raised, how much pain they tolerate.
Sometimes, you just need to have that common sense, not everyone got time to understand your life

POV: When he was diagnosed with a terminal illness and only have a few months to live the news shocked you that the person you love will pass after a few months. You visited him everyday even though your in a rough and busy schedule, you can still see him smile so brightly despite his situation, he laughs like there's nothing to care about, you talked casually like the way you used to, recalling the dates and romantic moments you spent with him even the day he courted you and became a part of his life you instantly smiled but behind that smile is fear of losing him you were not fully ready to accept reality until that day a few months came by, time does fly fast huh. He looked at you, his eyes filled with sadness and acceptance you didn't understand what's going on he just spoke "You came huh....." he clench the blankets as he holds his tears back he faces you "I never thought that I'll get separated from you this way, heh....I hate it......but atleast through out my life you were there, you were the biggest piece to enter and complete my life, I was planning to propose but I guess its too late....can you give me your hand?" He reached out his slender hand you gave your hand then he slid a gold silver diamond ring in your ring finger "Will you marry me even though it's too late?" He asked you nodded in response, he smiled "you should go now It's getting late" he looks at the window as you were abut to go out he called out your attention midway leaving his room "Thank you.......for everything...I love you please........."The last part was abit Hazy to ear you just responded to him "I love you too now get some rest I'll be back by tomorrow" he nods then you left you were thinking it thoroughly on what was the last thing he said then you just brushed it off.....little did you know that night was the last time you'll see him.
You woke up from the call of the doctor due to an emergency you rushed through the hospital as you arrive the doctor stopped you from entering for a moment the doctor looked at you with sorrow you then knew what exactly what was going on, you slammed the door open to see what was going on, you felt your legs getting weak as if they were giving up from the sight that you see, you saw his lifeless body in the hospital bed with a small smile on his face with tears in his eyes and he's holding the gold ring that you gave him when he proposed last night. You felt your chest tightening up your eyes flow like a river, you then remembered that last night was the last time that you'll see him, you recalled what he said last night "Thank you......for everything......I love you please...." you bursted into tears as you remembered it "..live on for me..."

You visited his grave it has been a few years since he left, you looked at his grave and gave the bouquet of flowers that you brought him "Hey.....how have you been....I missed you so much. Everything changed ever since you left I had some struggles but I managed, even though I was about to give up I just can't give up because of what you said that day that encouragement gave. A huge impact to me." You were cut of by your son call for you "MOM!" Your son rushed and approached you "Hey s/n" you patted your son gently "Is this dad mom?" He asked curiously "yes honey that's your dad......you resembled A lot about him....you really looked like your dad." You looked at his grave and gave a small smile then you walked to your car "Bye dad mom misses you alot." You heard what your son said and teared up abit "let's go...." you drove off with your son, I moved on....even though your not beside me anymore you left something for me and it's s/n and those great memories of the past I will cherish everything you left behind.......please rest well My beloved.

it's been 3 years since i last visited this song. I was quite hesitant to type in the title and click on the video as it reminded me too much of the past where I had succumbed to my depression and became to most vulnerable I've ever been. To say that this song brought me comfort is an understatement, I had nothing but this song on loop to continue letting me live and cry my eyes out until I had none left.
I was what, 13? 14? back when I found this song, and now I'm 17 turning 18, and to everyone who thinks life continues to get worse, trust me that it doesn't. There are downsides in life that is inconsistent and often overwhelming, but remember that there are also good things that come within the suffering that one endures. I'm not trying to gloat about my life suddenly turning for the better because I'm still the same vulnerable person I was when I was 14, but I've learned to overcome it and find positive attributes to the reason behind my struggles. And maybe then, so can you. 🤍
I'm so glad that you were able to find happiness after going through a rough time! This is also such an important message to other people and I wholeheartedly agree - life goes up and down. Sometimes it goes down so much, it's also easy to overlook all the good things that are happening. they are and they will - just try to see them. ♥
